The Patriots can beat any defense with their current offense

I just think offenses are a strong suit. I think [the Patriots] can beat any defense and I'd rather be playing a team that is known for their really good defense than their really good offense.

The Patriots beat the Broncos' elite defense 10-7 in the AFCCG but lost to the Seahawks' elite defense 13-29 in the Super Bowl. They could beat some elite defenses but not all.

The 2026 Steelers are exactly the same team we've seen since 2018

They are the exact same Steelers team that we've seen since 2018 every single year. ... The Steelers were doing exactly what they've done all year, and almost in a position to potentially steal this game. Except the Texans defense is just so good.

The Steelers lost to the Texans 30-6 in the Wild Card round, continuing a streak of one-and-done playoff appearances since 2016.

The Texans are the AFC version of the Seahawks

The [Texans] are essentially the AFC Seahawks, in my opinion, where their defense is elite. And you essentially have to get to the point where you're like, can you see CJ Stroud or Sam Darnold playing a clean enough game that they can get all the way to the Super Bowl?

This is a subjective comparison between team styles.

CJ Stroud is the most 'susceptible to ass' quarterback remaining in the playoffs

I do think that CJ Stroud is, he's not his ass as he played last night, but he does. He's susceptible to ass. ... For quarterbacks that remain in the playoffs, I feel like he, just off the top of my head, he might have the highest probability of ass.

Subjective assessment of a player's consistency and floor.

Tom Brady helping Mike Macdonald prepare for the Patriots would be a huge slap in the face to the New England region.

That would be egregious if that was true. I don't believe it is true. But if it were, that would be unforgivable. Not unforgivable. That would be a, a blemish, a big blemish. Big time. It'd be a slap in the face of the whole region.

Jayson Tatum is playing cute by claiming he found out about the Jaylen Brown trade on social media.

I'm sure he knew that he was on the trading block and he didn't know specifically when he got traded and he found out just like everyone else... all Brad Stevens, Jaylen Brown, they talked about how, you know, he was gonna be on the trading block and they were gonna try and move him. So I'm sure Jayson Tatum was also aware of that. But in terms of, he's probably playing a little, a little cutesy there where like no one specifically told him, 'Hey, this is the trade.' He found out like everyone else. But I'm sure he was not surprised and fully aware what the plan was.

Subjective interpretation of Tatum's PR framing.

The Celtics have another major move coming following the Jaylen Brown trade

There's something going on here. I I said it to Max on the boat yesterday. I was like, Jalen Brown was getting traded. I could, I could just feel it. I could feel it coming... I feel like the Paul George thing is, there's the, like, they might be doing another trade. There's another move coming.

The trade just happened in the fictional 2026 timeline provided; further moves are pending.
