Everything this guy [Ben Johnson] does is so insane that it's authentic... next door neighbors to insanity. But the good kind of neighbor to insanity... in order to get that stench out of the building... you need a psychopath dude. And they've got one.

The Pirates leaking interest in Kyle Schwarber is just 'red meat' to appease the fans with no intent to sign him

I feel like the Pirates' version of them actually signing a big free agent would be just leaking it that they're thinking about signing. Correct. That was... their red meat to the fan base. Be like, look, we tried.

The Pirates did not sign Kyle Schwarber despite making a four-year, $125 million offer. Schwarber re-signed with the Phillies on a five-year, $150 million deal at the Winter Meetings in December 2025. Big Cat's take that the Pirates' leaked interest was just 'red meat' for fans with no real intent to sign him proved accurate — they were outbid and the interest appeared performative.

Aaron Rodgers will play like an elite quarterback against the Bears because he wants to spite them one last time

That is my fear of this game is Aaron Rogers, who I don't think is like an elite quarterback anymore, will become an elite quarterback because he wants to stick it to the Bears one last time.

Big Cat feared Aaron Rodgers would play like an elite QB against the Bears in Week 12 to spite them. But Rodgers did not play at all due to a fractured left wrist sustained in Week 11. Mason Rudolph started instead, and the Steelers lost to the Bears.

Drake May will throw for over 300 yards for the first time this weekend against the Bengals

This is my prop of a lifetime this weekend. It's Drake May to throw 300 yards for the first time plus 264. I put it in before the show started. I feel like this is the week... the Bengals defense, you can't help but throw 300 yards against them.

Cannot verify Drake Maye's exact passing yards in the specific Week 12 game vs Bengals. Maye had 4,394 yards total for the season across 17 games.

Texas Tech LB Rodriguez is undervalued and a 'born football player'

Some guys are just born football players and this guy, the linebacker from Texas Tech... Rodriguez... I like to watch the cutups of these guys in coverage... Rodriguez has a ton of ball skills. He's also a great tackler in space. ... Reuben Bain reminds me of one of those kind of players.

This will be proven by Rodriguez's draft position and subsequent NFL performance.

Matt Nagy and Jackson Dart together in New York will be a lot of fun

I love Jackson Dart, I love the idea of Matt Nagy being the OC and not having to worry about head coach duties? ... if Matt Nagy and Jackson Dart can get on the same page, it's gonna be a lot of fun for people in New York.

The outcome of this offensive pairing will be seen in the upcoming NFL season.

Next year is the Josh Allen show with Joe Brady's offense, and DJ Moore will be a big part of it

I think what we see next year is the Josh Allen show. And with DJ Moore coming to town with a few of those offensive linemen still around, this group is still gonna be firepower on offense. Who's gonna rush the passer in the playoffs? Who's gonna be the guy that you know sends chills down the spine of a tackle on third down?
