I am done betting on the Colts for the rest of the year

I don't know what to make of the Colts. I really don't. I think I have to stop—I'm not betting on them the rest of the year because I just can't. They're just a very weird team.

The Colts finished 11-5 and were actually a very solid team, making the playoffs.

The 49ers are officially back

Niners are officially back. Also George Kittle is a hundred percent back because I don't know how he got that open, but he he deserves a couple easy ones... Niners are officially back a hundred percent back.

The 49ers finished 6-10 in 2020 and missed the playoffs, largely due to a massive wave of injuries. They were definitively not 'back' to their Super Bowl form.

I am still buying the Eagles to win the NFC East

I have actually two takeaways from this game. And the first one is I'm still buying the Eagles. Yeah, so I think that there are they could have beaten the Ravens today... the NFC East is terrible Dak Prescott got hurt and the next four games for the Eagles are giants Cowboys Giants Browns. Mmm. I think they're going to go at least three in one and we're going to be sitting here being like watch out for the Eagles.

The Eagles went 1-3 over their next four games and finished the season 4-11-1, last in the NFC East. Washington won the division at 7-9.

Lamar Jackson can't come from behind when trailing

Lamar, he's not really that great playing with a small lead either... we talked about him not being able to come from behind at all. Even if you're up by like two scores. He's just he's limited some time.

Lamar Jackson has since won two MVPs and led multiple double-digit comebacks, notably a massive 19-point comeback against the Colts in 2021, largely debunking this specific 'limited' tag.

Nate Oats needs to teach his players to never let the police look through their phones

Let the Aden Holloway situation be a reminder to everybody that you don't have to let the police look through your phone. I actually point the finger at Nate Oats for this, because Nate Oats, you gotta do a better job of explaining the first through fifth amendments to your players. Given the history that you've had... day one you should have a, get the guys from Morgan & Morgan to come in and be like, 'Do not talk to the police if you're in trouble. Shut the fuck up.'

This is a satirical advice piece and commentary on Nate Oats' coaching responsibilities.

Mark Pope is on the hot seat at Kentucky after this tournament performance

Mark Pope on the hot seat. I think he is. I mean, I think they're gonna bring him back. I think he's safe for this year, but I think he's going into next year. Seat is warm.

Pending — Mark Pope's job status at Kentucky after the 2025-26 season is not yet resolved.

Every major college coaching opening should start by calling Brad Stevens and making him say no

You gotta make him say no. You gotta call Brad Stevens and make him say no. I will personally never stop saying that. He probably wakes up every morning and says no. Voicemail just says, 'Thank you so much for the consideration, but it's gonna be a no.' It would be shocking if he ever took another college job.

This is an opinion on coaching search strategy.
