I only like Kirk Herbstreit when he acts as Lee Corso's guide

It's the only time that I like Kirk Herbstreit is when he's being Lee Corso's guide. I don't want to say seeing eye dog, but he's helping him with his sentences and finishing his thoughts for him. And that's the only time that I will ever like Kirk Herbstreit is when he's lending a hand like that.

Subjective personal preference.

Felipe Franks still stinks as a college quarterback

[Felipe Franks] still stinks. He still stinks. But when Andrew Luck retired, the discourse shifted...

Subjective opinion on player performance, though Franks' tenure at Florida was widely criticized for inconsistency.

Adam Schefter blowing up the retirement timeline caused Andrew Luck to be booed in Indianapolis

Schefter dropped it in the middle of the third quarter of the game and Andrew Luck then left the field... to boos... Schefter did his job, but, dude, you are the reason why the timeline got moved up. You announced it and basically blew up Andrew Luck's entire plan of telling his teammates first.

The factual timeline (Schefter tweeting during the game) is correct. Whether it directly *caused* the boos is an interpretation, but a logical one.

Ryan Grigson should be charged with war crimes for how he managed Andrew Luck

Ryan Grigson should basically go to like, he should be charged with war crimes. Just put him down to Cuba. Andrew Luck's first four years in the NFL, he got hit more than any other quarterback. They didn't have an offensive line protecting a franchise quarterback.

The factual basis that Luck was the most-hit QB is verifiable and generally true, though the 'war crimes' part is obviously satirical hyperbole.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
