If Ben Simmons is faking mental health issues to avoid playing, he is setting mental health awareness back significantly

I applaud Ben Simmons for being so brave. Yes, exactly. I would like to agree. Yeah. I would say it's okay to not be okay... If he is faking it, he's actually setting mental health way back way.

The take is a conditional moral judgment, so it is inherently subjective.

Ben Simmons is the reason the Philadelphia 76ers have been held back

I keep saying it and I feel like there's some people who still don't understand it. Like Ben Simmons is the reason why the Sixers have been held back. It's not that he, like if Joel Embiid was holding out, it'd be a completely different scenario here because Joel Embiid is their best player by far in away.

The Sixers traded Simmons for James Harden and eventually moved on, but failed to make a conference finals even after his departure, suggesting systemic issues beyond just Simmons.

Daryl Morey is making the right move by being willing to wait four years to trade Ben Simmons

Daryl Morey, I think he is probably read 'Art of the Deal' because he said they are willing to have this last four years... he just anchored the negotiation. He said, we're not going to trade him unless we get a true piece back. And if this has to go on for four years, it will go on for four years. Here's to four years. I hope it does, because that would be hilarious. But Daryl Morey. Good, good countermove to Ben Simmons saying he's dealing with mental health.

Morey successfully 'anchored' the negotiation and waited until the trade deadline to get James Harden, proving the patience strategy correct in spirit even if it didn't take four years.

The Braves are going to kill the Dodgers tonight in Game 5 of the NLCS

And then we're taking me before the Braves Dodgers game. This will be all time Atlanta curse slash big cat mush. But I think the Braves are gonna kill the Dodgers tonight.

The Dodgers won Game 5 11-2, so the Braves did not 'kill' them; in fact, the opposite happened.

Getting excited for the NFL schedule release is for pussies

I can't get it up for the schedule release because it's—if you explained what the schedule release was to Vince Lombardi, he'd call you a pussy and spit in your face.

The schedule release is a highly watched media event, though many analysts share the sentiment that it is overblown.

The NFL should release one game schedule per day for the entire off-season

The NFL, they should do, they should draw it out even longer. It should be one game that Roger Goodell releases per day for the entire off-season. And then at the end of it, he's like, okay, let's play some ball.

This is a procedural suggestion that has not been implemented by the league.

The Preakness Stakes should move its date to three weeks before the Kentucky Derby

Why doesn't the Preakness just say, screw it to the Kentucky Derby and schedule their main race for like three weeks before the Kentucky Derby? You wanna play hardball? Yeah, you could play hardball. I feel like if you, if your horse wins the Preakness, if it was scheduled for before the Derby, you're not skipping the derby. No, you gotta run in the derby.

This is a hypothetical scheduling proposal to solve the issue of horses skipping the second jewel of the Triple Crown.
