Jayden Daniels is going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL

I'm still buying all the Jayden Daniels stuff. I think that he absolutely — I think that he is going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Jayden Daniels won Offensive Rookie of the Year and led the Commanders to the NFC Championship game in his rookie season, validating PFT's confidence. Still early to say 'one of the best' long-term.

Sean McVay's decision to kick a field goal on third down was wrong — he waited too long and then did it too early at the same time

If you are going to play the game of we should kick a field goal before we try to get a touchdown, do it with like a minute and a half left the minute you get into field goal range. Why would you give away a down that you could — the harder thing to do is score a touchdown. It felt like he got caught somewhere in the middle where he just didn't really make up his mind.

This is an opinion about game management strategy, but the consensus agreed McVay's timing was poor.

The Dolphins are the prime spoiler team and will win one of their games against the Texans or 49ers later in the season

I think they are just the prime spoiler team. I think they have a game against the Texans and the 49ers later in the season. They're gonna win one of those two. It's not gonna mean anything for them, but it'll mean a lot for the team that loses.

The Dolphins beat the 49ers 29-17 on December 22, 2024, confirming Big Cat's prediction.

Micah Parsons didn't say anything wrong about Mike McCarthy

Am I wrong to think that Micah Parsons didn't say anything wrong? I have no problem with it. It was honest. An NFL player has a limited time to be on an NFL roster. And he's like, yeah, the guys next to me who might be on their last year, those are the guys I feel for. You want your athletes and coaches to give honest answers. And when they give honest answers, we should be like, that was an honest answer. Not holy shit, how could he say that?

Subjective opinion about media coverage of athlete comments.

Getting excited for the NFL schedule release is for pussies

I can't get it up for the schedule release because it's—if you explained what the schedule release was to Vince Lombardi, he'd call you a pussy and spit in your face.

The schedule release is a highly watched media event, though many analysts share the sentiment that it is overblown.

The NFL should release one game schedule per day for the entire off-season

The NFL, they should do, they should draw it out even longer. It should be one game that Roger Goodell releases per day for the entire off-season. And then at the end of it, he's like, okay, let's play some ball.

This is a procedural suggestion that has not been implemented by the league.

The Preakness Stakes should move its date to three weeks before the Kentucky Derby

Why doesn't the Preakness just say, screw it to the Kentucky Derby and schedule their main race for like three weeks before the Kentucky Derby? You wanna play hardball? Yeah, you could play hardball. I feel like if you, if your horse wins the Preakness, if it was scheduled for before the Derby, you're not skipping the derby. No, you gotta run in the derby.

This is a hypothetical scheduling proposal to solve the issue of horses skipping the second jewel of the Triple Crown.
