Kyle Pitts is never going to happen

Kyle Pitts is never gonna happen fast. [PFT]: I like that. That's the best point that you've made.

Subjective career evaluation, though historically supported by his lack of production.

Sean McDermott should not be fired

Sean McDermott still has his job. I don't think he should be fired now. The dust has been settled... He's a very, very good coach. But you have to also look at what he's done in the playoffs and how much those losses just stay with a man.

Sean McDermott was retained for the following season.

Getting your ass kicked in the playoffs is better than losing a close game

I think it captures the moment perfectly. It's... the two guys on the bus meme. One is really pissed off. Doom and gloom. The other guy's super happy. The guy that's pissed off is losing a close game. The guy that's super happy is getting your ass kicked. So getting your ass kicked is better in those situations, I think than being like, oh, you know, we were one play away.

This is an inherently subjective take on fan psychology.

The Chiefs' defense is overrated while their offense is underrated

The Chiefs' defense is a little overrated. I'm gonna say it right now. I'm gonna dig into some numbers for you, but I'm gonna say it... Their rush defense has not been incredible in the back half. Now the problem is for you and the Chiefs is their offense has gotten a lot better. I think their defense is above average. And I think people think that their offense is average. And I think that's also above average.

Big Cat said the Chiefs' defense was overrated and their offense was underrated. In Super Bowl LIX, the Chiefs' defense gave up 40 points to the Eagles, supporting the 'overrated defense' claim. The offense put up decent numbers but couldn't overcome the defensive failures.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
