Major League Baseball is better when the Dodgers are disappointed

The Major League Baseball is better when the Dodgers are good. That's what people always say. I don't really believe that. I like Los Angelinos to be very disappointed in all their sports because they have everything else.

This is a subjective preference about the state of the league.

Clayton Kershaw will close Game 7 of the World Series and finally get the monkey off his back

Clayton Kershaw, out of the bullpen to close Game 7 for the Los Angeles Dodgers... he does the old Steve Young, gets that monkey off his back. And the Dodgers, the great sports town of L.A., has a championship.

The Astros won Game 7. While Kershaw pitched 4 scoreless innings of relief, he did not close the game or win the championship.

Kelvin Benjamin will lose his conditioning in Buffalo because of the winter and chicken wings

Kelvin Benjamin, who, by the way, did the Bills realize he's already kind of a hefty guy with weight problems and that he's going to be in Buffalo? Yeah, and wings. And a lot of beer... I feel like Kelvin Benjamin is going to get off the plane in Buffalo and be like, oh, I don't have to be in shape in this city.

Kelvin Benjamin's tenure in Buffalo was a disaster; he struggled with conditioning and production and was released after about a year.

Deshaun Watson would have failed on the Browns because they ruin all quarterbacks

Deshaun Watson is forever going to be the could-have-been-on-the-Browns guy. But what people don't realize is he would have sucked on the Browns because that's what the Browns do to quarterbacks.

While speculative, the Browns' track record supports the idea that they were a graveyard for QB talent during this era.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
