More NFL teams should utilize downfield laterals like they do in rugby

I actually thought I thought it was a good idea. I think that more team should do downfield laterals. It happens in rugby all the time. And if you if you can hit somebody in stride, it's usually a touchdown.

The strategy remains rare in the NFL due to the high risk of turnovers, though teams like the Chiefs have occasionally used it successfully in the years following this take.

The atmosphere at Audi Field for the DC Defenders was better than any Redskins game in the last 20 years

I'm going to say like the atmosphere in DC at Audi Field was better. It was more fun than any Redskins game that I've been to in the last like 20 years.

This is subjective but captures the sentiment of the time when DC fans were desperate for an alternative to Dan Snyder's ownership.

The real test for the XFL's success will be when March Madness and the NBA playoffs begin

I don't know if it's going to succeed because as I've always said, tell me how it does when we get to March Madness, when we get to the Masters and NBA and NHL playoffs. But as of right now, I thought it was good.

The 2020 XFL season was actually cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic in March, so the league never actually faced this competition fairly.

This is officially Duke's year after their miracle win against UNC

It is officially Duke's year. It is officially Duke's year. It is. Yeah, and maybe Gonzaga because Gonzaga keeps—Gonzaga had their classic game where they play every year, they play St. Mary's and everyone's like this is the one spot they could lose and they just fucking kick the shit out of them.

The 2020 NCAA Tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19, so no champion was crowned.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
