Sean Payton will leave the Saints for the Dallas Cowboys and take Taysom Hill with him

Ooh, what about... You think what I'm thinking? Sean Payton. Sean Payton just lost today. It's true. He's been linked. He's got family in Dallas. ... Taysom Hill goes with him. Like Al Pacino and Willie Beeman.

Sean Payton stayed with the Saints through 2021 and eventually joined the Broncos in 2023. Mike McCarthy was hired by the Cowboys in 2020.

The 2020 Wild Card weekend was the most thrilling in NFL history

That was an insane, insane Wild Card weekend. Probably, I wouldn't say the best Wild Card weekend because I honestly just can't remember all the Wild Card weekends off the top of my head. But it was probably the most thrilling.

Subjective; 2020 Wild Card weekend was highly rated, but 'most thrilling' is an opinion.

Deshaun Watson is the Michael Jordan of the NFL

When Dabo Swinney says [Deshaun Watson] is Michael Jordan, that's what he's talking about. The fact that he has that poise and that one play where he got sacked twice, spun around and made a play.

Subjective comparison of greatness across sports.

Josh Allen is like Brett Favre with ADD

He was playing like a little kid just hopped up on sugar, just running around, making plays. He was like Brett Favre if Brett Favre had ADD.

The comparison is a matter of opinion regarding playing style.

The Chiefs' window never closed

I don't think we ever actually closed the Chiefs' window. I think Mahomes was just in bed because he was injured, far away from the window.

The Chiefs' long-term contention status is ultimately subjective, though their dynasty remained active at the time of the episode.

Mahomes will be back to himself by season's end

By the end of this season, Mahomes is gonna be back to being Mahomes.

Whether Mahomes returned to his established level by the end of the 2026 NFL season had not yet been resolved.

The Oregon loss could turn Dan Lanning into a psychopath

I don't think that Dan Lanning has slept since that loss. I think Dan Lanning has turned into an absolute psycho because of this loss. He's sick. It actually might be a dangerous thing for the rest of the Big Ten that Oregon lost that game.

Whether the loss made Oregon more dangerous over the rest of the season is a future, testable team-performance claim.
