The Cardinals vs. 49ers Week 1 game will go under 48 points

I've got the Cardinals 49ers it at 48... I'm taking the under.

The Cardinals won 24-20, a total of 44 points, which is under the 48 line.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to stop the Chiefs when their offense is humming

The Chiefs newsflash are really, really, really fucking good. Like I don't I don't think the Texans are as bad as they looked at times. I think the Chiefs are just really, really fucking good. Super Bowl champs for a reason. There's nothing that you could do to stop the Chiefs when their offense is humming like that. There's just there's absolutely nothing you can do.

The Chiefs went 14-2 and reached the Super Bowl again that season, and have remained the league's most dominant offense.

The NBA rigged Game 6 for the Raptors over the Celtics to get a Game 7 for ratings

I'm feeling nervous. I'm not gonna lie. Game 6 was clearly like the NBA and I understand where the NBA is coming from where they need the best ratings we could possibly get. If we could tell the refs, just call everything against the Celtics so we can get a game 7 for ratings. I understand it. It was clearly the post-game report admitted everything that happened on the stretch that was supposed to get called against the Celtics didn't.

While the NBA admitted to officiating errors, there is no proof of a directive for ratings. The Celtics won Game 7 anyway.

The Celtics are clearly the better team than the Raptors and the series should have been over in five games max

The Celtics have clearly been the better team in the series. They should have won game three. They should have won game six... I do think that the Celtics are the better team and it should have been a four game five game Max series.

The Celtics did eventually win Game 7 to advance, supporting the idea they were the better team, though it took the full 7 games.

Nate Oats needs to teach his players to never let the police look through their phones

Let the Aden Holloway situation be a reminder to everybody that you don't have to let the police look through your phone. I actually point the finger at Nate Oats for this, because Nate Oats, you gotta do a better job of explaining the first through fifth amendments to your players. Given the history that you've had... day one you should have a, get the guys from Morgan & Morgan to come in and be like, 'Do not talk to the police if you're in trouble. Shut the fuck up.'

This is a satirical advice piece and commentary on Nate Oats' coaching responsibilities.

Mark Pope is on the hot seat at Kentucky after this tournament performance

Mark Pope on the hot seat. I think he is. I mean, I think they're gonna bring him back. I think he's safe for this year, but I think he's going into next year. Seat is warm.

Pending — Mark Pope's job status at Kentucky after the 2025-26 season is not yet resolved.

Every major college coaching opening should start by calling Brad Stevens and making him say no

You gotta make him say no. You gotta call Brad Stevens and make him say no. I will personally never stop saying that. He probably wakes up every morning and says no. Voicemail just says, 'Thank you so much for the consideration, but it's gonna be a no.' It would be shocking if he ever took another college job.

This is an opinion on coaching search strategy.
