The Commanders will win the NFC Championship because history repeats in 33-year cycles

January 26th, 1992. The Redskins beat the Bills in the Super Bowl on that day. This game will be played on January 26th, 2025. That was 33 years ago. Same day they beat the Bills in the Super Bowl. Every 33 years a Commie gets a ring. And this is a ring game.

The NFC Championship game does not award a 'ring' in the traditional sense like a Super Bowl, though players receive NFC Champion rings later.

Jaden Daniels is a better quarterback than Jared Goff and Jalen Hurts

My quarterback is better than yours. That's what I told him to give [Jared Goff]. Well guess what I'm gonna say against the Philadelphia Eagle, my quarterback is better than yours. So at the end of the day, the quarterback position sometimes with fine state.

Highly subjective ranking of quarterbacks, though Daniels has had a better rookie season than most.

The Eagles have a better roster than the Commanders at almost every position except for quarterback

The Eagles have better players at almost every position except for the most important position. And that's quarterback. And I keep coming back to like... I think the Eagle's defense is better than what Jayden Daniels has played in the last two playoff games.

Eagles (14-3) were better and won 55-23 in NFC Championship, but Commanders made NFC Championship with rookie QB Daniels — gap wasn't as wide as implied.

Jaden Daniels will struggle in the NFC Championship and throw three interceptions

Jaden Daniels is a rookie. The slipper's gonna come off. He's gonna turn back into a pumpkin. Three interceptions.

Jayden Daniels did struggle in the NFC Championship (Eagles won 55-23 blowout), but he threw only 1 interception, not 3 as Hank predicted. The 'slipper coming off' part was directionally correct.

The 4-1 loss to Belgium was the worst USMNT performance in years

That was the worst performance from the US that I've seen in years. Just completely lackluster from the start. So much blame to go around. Tim Ream, friend of the program, good guy over the hill, turned into soccer Shawn Bradley before our very eyes got dunked on twice.

Subjective opinion on the quality of the performance.

Christian Pulisic was a 'no-show' and looked like he didn't care against Belgium

Christian Pulisic, the long anointed Captain America future face of this league for American soccer. Absolute no show of a game, I would say worse than a no show of a game. And then he checks himself out. Just looks lackluster, looks like he doesn't care at all. Had the most turnovers on the field of anybody. That played just really, really, really bad.

Subjective evaluation of Pulisic's effort and performance.

The US will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer

People will never close the skill gap. USA will never close the skill gap compared to the rest of the world in soccer.

Historically, the US has struggled to produce technical talent on par with Brazil or Europe.
