The Timberwolves might be able to beat the Spurs even without Anthony Edwards

I would not be shocked if the Timberwolves did beat the Spurs. I think they might be able to... they beat the Nuggets without him. The Timberwolves are an insanely well coached team.

Pending - the Timberwolves-Spurs series outcome was not yet known at time of recording.

Tyrese Maxey is a top 10 player in the NBA

Tyrese Maxey is a top 10 player in the NBA. And they're, I think it's pretty hard to debate right now, otherwise, because he has done it all year. ... This series, he proved himself to be a top 10 player in the NBA.

While Maxey is elite, top 10 is usually reserved for players like Jokic, Giannis, Luka, etc. Maxey is generally considered top 15-25.

Joel Embiid has successfully shifted his career narrative with this series win

I think Joel Embiid's narrative is shifting. Shifting but not [yet] shifted. ... Shifting-ING is different than -ED. Narrative shifted for sure. ... He's now shown that he's not like just a regular season guy. He's not a choker.

The narrative around Embiid has historically been centered on second-round failures and injuries; beating a -900 favorite Celtics team in Game 7 certainly impacts that.

Game six might be the last time we see Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown play together

Was game six in this series the last time we will see Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown play together?

Pending - whether Tatum and Brown remain teammates depends on offseason moves.

Kevin Durant's burner accounts were a legitimate internal distraction for the Rockets

The reporting was that the alleged burner accounts that KD had were a significant distraction for the rockets. ... This is an actual real problem if he's talking this much shit about his teammates.

The take is based on reported 'league sources', making it a credible assertion of team dynamics at the time.

Michael Porter Jr. was more important to the Nuggets' championship than Aaron Gordon

I think Michael Porter Jr. was such a big part of their formula when they won. He was a more important part of that team than Aaron Gordon was. When he left and everybody was like, Aaron Gordon is stepping into the Michael Porter Jr. role as the clear third option — they miss him. They miss Porter.

Subjective opinion about player importance - not definitively resolvable.

LIV Golf is making a comeback because the war in Iran is over

I think Liv Golf might be back because the war's over. ... I do actually believe the theory that they had to adjust all their funding because they were having to spend way more money than they had planned on to repair shit that was getting blown up.

This is a satirical conspiracy theory with no basis in financial reality, making it factually incorrect but a great joke.
