Tony Pollard has 'young legs' and is better than Ezekiel Elliott

Tony Pollard has got young legs. Ezekiel Elliott lost all that weight, looks slower than he did before. Pollard's got young legs. I think that's officially his backfield.

Pollard eventually became the primary back and was franchise tagged while Zeke was released.

Nick Sirianni will be lucky to last four seasons in Philadelphia

Nick Sirianni will be lucky to last four seasons in Philadelphia. Pop quiz. What was the silver lining for the Eagles? That would be [DeVonta Smith], your receiver who had 117 yards?

Nick Sirianni was not 'lucky to last four seasons' - he lasted well beyond four seasons. He was hired in 2021 and is still head coach after five seasons, winning Super Bowl LIX in February 2025 and receiving a contract extension.

John Harbaugh was right to go for it on fourth down to end the game against the Chiefs

John Harbaugh with his big old balls. I love, love, love that he was like looked at Lamar Jackson was like, do you want to go? You want to go for this on fourth and one to end this game, let's fucking do it the right. Even if they hadn't gotten it, I still think it's the right call because you can't give the ball back to Patrick Mahomes.

The Ravens converted the 4th and 1 and won the game, validating the decision.

Roger Goodell will eventually revoke the new taunting rules and take credit for it

I personally can't wait for Roger Goodell to step in and say, guess what? I'm revoking the new taunting penalties. And then we'll all have to give him a round of applause for doing the right thing and limiting the rule that he brought in that completely screws the game over.

The NFL did not revoke the rule quickly, though enforcement levels fluctuated in subsequent seasons.

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
