Paul George is essentially just Tobias Harris with better branding

Paul George is Tobias Harris with better branding. Whoa. Yeah. I mean they're all back tonight... Paul George, Paul George, I know he had a better January, but like off key, he, he needs to be a dude while MB is out through all of this. And instead he's totally comfortable getting his ISO 17 footer up.

Highly controversial comparison of two players with vastly different career accolades.

The United States is currently the best hockey country in the world

Guess what? We're the best fucking country in the world in hockey... until Canada, until Canada to be on Thursday. We right now as of the second we're the, we're still and still the best hockey country in the world.

USA won their early games in the Four Nations, making this literally true at the time of speaking.

Canada won't get the Stanley Cup back from the United States

We got the Stanley Cup. They're not getting it back.

The Stanley Cup remained with a US team - the Florida Panthers won in 2025 for the second straight year. No Canadian team won the Cup.

The NHL's Four Nations tournament completely outclassed the NBA All-Star weekend

The NHL absolutely bodied the NBA in terms of getting it right and what they did, what they've done with the Four Nations Tournament instead of the All-Star game versus everything that's been going on for the NBA All-Star game. It's not even close.

Subjective comparison of entertainment value and player effort.

James Harden is still a prime candidate for a massive playoff collapse

Last night with Mitchell not playing well, all the points off of turnovers, which again, he was, he was guilty of. But look, I just have a super hard time with the way he's officiated. It gets so bad with him that I'm like, well I expect there's gonna be some kind of 30 point game. Yeah. I mean he's got the ball in his hands the entire time. But at the end when he needed the free throws, it's like he missed two of the last four. 'cause it—that tells me there's just something about him.

Harden's playoff legacy is a matter of intense debate, and a single game rarely changes the long-term narrative.

The Spurs benefited more from a tough first-round series than the Thunder

I feel like San Antonio needed to be challenged more than OKC did. I think San Antonio needed to learn some stuff about themselves that they weren't gonna learn in the Portland series for their first time ever going through it. So even though it's gonna go longer than maybe you'd expect, I, I think there's a benefit to it for them because all of this is just like still new.

This is a philosophical take on 'rest vs. rust' and developmental value in the playoffs.

Peterson is a significantly better NBA prospect than Banso

I feel like it's—I I just wouldn't, I don't know anything, but I'm, I'm just telling you like I don't, Peterson is so much better than Banso when they played against each other. And if you don't believe me, gni, who's really good on this stuff, like he had a clip that came out this week where he just goes, Hey, I've watched him play like eight to 10 times in person. I've never once thought Banso was better than him.

Draft outcomes and career trajectories will eventually reveal the better player.
