Eric Bieniemy might be waiting for Andy Reid to retire to take the Chiefs job

Why isn't anyone thrown out there that maybe he's just waiting for Andy Reid to retire? Because if Andy Reid – and just hear me out... if you're Eric Bieniemy and Andy Reid says to you, I'm going three more years, four more years, you still get like 15 years of Patrick Mahomes.

Bieniemy eventually left the Chiefs to be the OC for the Commanders in 2023, while Reid remained head coach of the Chiefs.

Philip Rivers will eventually get into the Hall of Fame

I think [Philip Rivers] will eventually get in the Hall of Fame. He's not a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I think he will eventually get in. But he obviously will get dinged for the lack of playoff wins and the lack of a signature win and the lack of a Super Bowl. But when you actually look at it... Phillip Rivers was the better quarterback in terms of numbers throughout his career [compared to Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger].

Philip Rivers is not yet eligible for the Hall of Fame (first eligible in 2026).

Most NFL players would love to play for Dan Campbell

Dan Campbell's just a dude... He is a guy, and I don't know if it will last forever, and he has to clearly hire some smart people around him, but he's a guy, if you polled the NFL, I guarantee you there would be a majority of NFL players being like, I'd love to play for a guy like that.

While subjective, player surveys and the Lions' culture shift under Campbell strongly support this view.

The Packers will easily beat the Buccaneers because of the cold weather at Lambeau

I think Green Bay is going to be able to handle it pretty easily. The weather right now, it's scheduled to be 29 degrees and snowy in Lambeau Field. That, to me, that's a Packers win. God is on their side this week.

I said the Bills could blow out the Chiefs. I guess I should have just phrased it the lame way and been like, it's a coin flip game... I'm saying a blowout wouldn't surprise me either way. People think that the Bills blowing out the Chiefs would be some shocking result, but to me it wouldn't be because I think both these teams are so fucking good that if either shows up with their A-plus game, they will blow out the opponents.

The Chiefs won the game 38-24. While the score was somewhat competitive, the Bills never came close to blowing out the Chiefs; the Chiefs were in control for most of the second half.

Drew Brees clearly looked very washed. I've been on the Drew Brees is washed train for two years now and I've said that the Saints have a Super Bowl roster and the only thing that's holding them back is Drew Brees.

It was clear. [Brees] can't throw the ball over 15 yards. His mind is still there, but he doesn't have any of the physical abilities. And that cost the Saints the game. Drew Brees unfortunately lost them the game.

Stats and film from the game showed Brees unable to push the ball downfield, which allowed the Bucs to compress their defense.

At this point in time, it used to be the saying, good defense trumps all, defense wins championships. That's not the case anymore. Good offense beats good defense in the NFL today.
