Tom Brady hates everyone in the Patriots organization and wants to get out fast

I'm reading that as Tom Brady hates everyone in the Patriots organization is looking to get out of town as fast as possible.

While Brady did leave for the Buccaneers shortly after this, the claim that he 'hates everyone' is hyperbole, though relationship tensions were well-documented.

A lot of people have been saying the reverse that Bill Belichick would be interested in Andy Dalton because if you can win a Super Bowl with Andy Dalton, then everyone will say wow. This guy can do anything he walk on water.

The Patriots did not sign Andy Dalton; they eventually signed Cam Newton after Brady left.

The mockery of NFL Combine hand size measurements has gone too far; it actually matters for quarterback performance.

I think the pendulum has swung so far into mocking combine season. I actually hate it now... It might not directly correlate, but would you not rather have a guy with a bigger hand than a smaller hand? There is absolutely a benefit to having a big hand if you're trying to grip a football in the rain or cold.

The value of hand size in the NFL remains a debated analytical topic, with most data suggesting it has little to no correlation with success or fumble rates.

In the modern NFL, having a transcendental offense is better than having a very good defense.

I'd say that having a transcendental offense is probably better usually than having a very good defense because it's extremely hard to put together all the pieces on defense... just one of those easy things to just be like, 'Hey, we want to have an explosive offense.'

This reflects the general consensus in NFL strategy during this era.

The NFL should eliminate the week of Christmas from the schedule

All Christmas week, just eliminate that week on the schedule of NFL football because you can watch bowl games. There's NBA Christmas and it will make you force you to spend more time with your family... and also you look like—this is also a win for NFL where they can say, 'We give the players Christmas week off.'

The NFL did the opposite, moving more games to Christmas Day and even playing games on Christmas when it falls on a Wednesday (2024).

17 seems like a weird number. It absolutely feels like it's just a bridge to get to 18 games. Like that's the finish line. It's going to be 18 games. No one's going to want a 17-game season.

Jameis Winston's potential with Lasik surgery is limitless
