Monday's show kicked off with a literal earth-shaking shift in the NBA landscape as LeBron James decided to take his talents to Philadelphia. Big Cat wasted no time putting the pressure on, declaring that the stakes for the City of Brotherly Love have never been higher.

It's championship or bust for the 76ers after signing LeBron James

It's championship or bust for the Sixers. It's championship or bust for the Sixers. If they don't win the NBA championship next year, this could be the most disappointing season in the history of basketball.

Outcome of the 2026-27 NBA season is pending.

Max, currently operating as a high-level LeBron sexual, was nearly floating in his seat. He’s fully embraced the "King" in Philly, going so far as to claim that LeBron has already surpassed MJ in the GOAT rankings simply by outlasting him.

LeBron James is the GOAT over Michael Jordan because of his longevity

LeBron? More points. Longevity is a big thing in sports. The fact that he's 42 years old, he is still doing it. Michael Jordan couldn't do it at 42. He never had a serious injury... I'm a LeBron sexual. That's my goat, that's my guy.

The GOAT debate is inherently subjective.

Big Cat isn't entirely sold on the legacy boost, though. He pointed out that while the longevity is undeniably impressive, the frequent moving from city to city creates a bit of a stain on the resume compared to the guys who stayed put.

It hurts LeBron James's GOAT case against Michael Jordan that he has played for four different franchises

I do think it's a little weird that he's on his fourth team when you have the GOAT debate. I do. Four teams is weird. Just because I just do personal, this is my personal belief... It's not an argument that has any type of substance behind it other than I just like to say four teams. That's crazy.

Of course, Hank couldn't help but look at this through the lens of a Celtics fan. In an incredible display of mental gymnastics, he’s convinced himself that Brad Stevens trading Jaylen Brown to the Sixers was actually a strategic strike meant to destroy Philly from within.

Brad Stevens traded Jaylen Brown to the Sixers as a '4D chess' move to implode the team

I think that this could be the greatest thing that Brad Stevens has ever done. I think he's playing 4D chess. He knew what he was doing with the Jaylen Brown trade. And now with LeBron, like all the pressure's now on LeBron. Jaylen Brown didn't want to be a number two option with Boston. And now the Sixers, it's like he might be number four.

Requires seeing if the Sixers implode or win a championship.

With LeBron, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid on the same roster, the question of hierarchy was immediate. Max is already moving on from the "The Process" era, insisting that this is LeBron’s locker room and everyone else is just living in it.

The 76ers are unequivocally LeBron James's team now, not Joel Embiid's

He's gonna be the leader in the locker room. That was one thing that I was worried about with Embiid, Jaylen Brown. Like who is gonna be the leader and the guy that everyone rallies around. Now they don't really have an argument to be made. It's LeBron. Everyone's gonna look to LeBron. He's gonna be the one that gets everyone ready to go in the playoff series.

Patrick Kane in Studio

Fresh off his press conference announcing his return to the Chicago Blackhawks, Patrick Kane joined the show to discuss why he’s back. He talked about the emotional phone call from Danny Wirtz, the feeling of seeing "Welcome Back" billboards on I-90, and the prospect of playing with Connor Bedard. It was a nostalgia-heavy interview where Kane looked back at the 2010, 2013, and 2015 Cup runs, even remembering the specific playlists they used to blast in the locker room. He also cleared the air on his hip surgery, noting that he’s finally feeling pain-free and ready for a two-year run to see what this young Hawks team can do.

Who's Back and Mount Rushmore

In Who’s Back, the guys hit on Tony Romo’s OWI in Wisconsin and the bizarre nature of the state's traffic laws. PFT noted that getting an OWI in Wisconsin isn't exactly the same scarlet letter it is elsewhere.

A DUI in Wisconsin is essentially 'Fisher-Price: My First DUI'

So the OWI in Wisconsin is like Fisher-Price. My first DUI. You're just like, hey, you gotta, you gotta give us like 300 bucks and don't do it again. It's pretty much a boys will be boys.

In Wisconsin, a first-offense OWI is generally a civil violation, not a criminal offense, making the comparison to a 'starter' penalty accurate in spirit.

Big Cat also used the segment to continue his campaign for Pete Crow-Armstrong’s MVP case, while PFT lamented the state of the internet whenever Caitlin Clark’s name is mentioned.

The online discourse surrounding Caitlin Clark has completely destroyed people's brains

She's destroyed more brains in this country than cocaine. It's impossible to have any rational take online about Caitlin Clark anymore.

The show wrapped up with a highly contentious Mount Rushmore of things you eat with a spoon. While cereal and soup were obvious locks, a civil war broke out over Mac and Cheese. Big Cat stood firm that the spoon is the only viable tool for the job, specifically when it comes to the blue box.

You must eat Kraft Mac and Cheese with a spoon

If you're eating Kraft mac and cheese, you have to use a spoon. That's a fact. I ask Memes how he gets the rest out of the bowl. You flip the bowl, dip the bowl. I was like, you're a savage. Just use a fucking spoon, dude.

If LeBron actually wins a ring in Philly, we might have to check on Hank's welfare by mid-June.

The Boston Celtics are back to being scrappy underdogs after the Sixers signed LeBron

We're back to being the scrappy underdogs, which I feel like is where the Celtics thrives. So it's like everyone's expecting it's gonna be Knicks or Sixers. Everyone's forgetting about the Celtics. That's a fun spot to be in.

The Sixers will reach out about trading for Anthony Davis

I do think that the Sixers will probably reach out and at least make a phone call about Anthony Davis.

Will be proven correct if reports emerge that the Sixers inquired about AD.

Joel Embiid will become the ultimate scapegoat and receive all the blame if the new-look Sixers fail

I think what's gonna end up happening and the only person who this move is, I don't wanna say bad for, but the pressure has gone to a billion is Joel Embiid. 'Cause if they don't perform, it will be his, he will get all the blame and no one else. ... He will get the inordinate amount of blame for anything that goes bad for the Sixers. And he won't get a lot of the praise. It'll go to LeBron. That's part of playing with LeBron.

Requires observing the media fallout if the Sixers fail in the playoffs.

Pete Crow-Armstrong should be the NL MVP

PCA is just the MVP. I just wanna say PCA should be the MVP. Shohei is not pitching as of right now. And PCA just continues to be a joy to watch. An absolute every night it's appointment television to watch Pete Crow-Armstrong play baseball.

Outcome of the 2026 NL MVP award is pending.
