Adnan Syed is definitely guilty

The one you're talking about [Serial] came out five years ago about Adnan Syed. Who I think is really, really guilty. But for some reason, they just... I don't know. He just seems like it was a show about a guy that was guilty that had very charming murderer.

Syed's conviction was eventually vacated in 2022 and charges were dropped, though legal debates continue.

Antonio Brown is the hero to the working man

[Antonio Brown] is the hero to the working man... he basically signed a contract two years ago, got a bunch of guaranteed money, when the guaranteed money ran out he's like 'I want a new deal' and then he got it.

While subjective, the 'working man' label for a multi-millionaire WR is ironically intended.

Derek Carr will not be the Raiders' quarterback going forward; Jon Gruden will draft Kyler Murray

There's no way that Derek Carr is going to be the quarterback going forward, right? I'm saying [Jon Gruden] is going to get Kyler Murray. I think he's going to put all those chips [in the middle].

Derek Carr remained the Raiders' starting quarterback until 2022, and Kyler Murray was drafted #1 overall by the Cardinals.

Antonio Brown will either be great for the Raiders or destroy them before they move to Vegas

[Antonio Brown] is so weird and so bizarre that he's either going to be great for the team or he's going to destroy the team before they move to Vegas.

Antonio Brown effectively destroyed his tenure before it started, being released before the first game after a series of bizarre incidents. 'Destroyed the team' is the correct half of the binary.

The Chiefs-Rams Trent McDuffy trade is the first true win-win trade in NFL history

I think the only win-win trade in the history of the NFL might be the McDuffy trade. The one that just happened. Where the the Chiefs traded McDuffy to the Rams. The Rams don't give a fuck about first round picks. They got a great player and they still have their better first round pick from the Falcons. That to me is the first win-win trade in the history of the NFL.

Subjective assessment of trade value over time.

The Rams have proven that first-round draft picks outside of the top 10 don't matter

Are the Rams doing it correctly? Not that draft picks don't matter. Draft picks outside of the top 10 don't matter as much... instead of taking risks on a bunch of 21 year olds, let's get the known commodity knowing it's a crapshoot and just keep punting that down the line being like, we don't care.

This is a subjective organizational philosophy that has yielded mixed results for other teams, though the Rams have remained competitive.

Alec Pierce is about to get a massive contract in free agency

I think Alec Pierce is about to get paid too. I think the market on Alec Pierce is gonna be crazy. Possible Patriot. Possible Commander.

Pierce remained on his rookie contract through 2024; he did not hit free agency or get a 'crazy' bag in 2025.
