Flying private is the coolest thing you can do if you are rich

We've been lucky enough to fly private every now and then—it is pretty fucking awesome. If you have the means to do it, like these people do, it's probably the one coolest rich thing you can do.

This is a purely subjective opinion on luxury lifestyle perks.

I'm betting the Jaguars over their win total because Urban Meyer is gone

I think I might sell myself on the Jaguars this year. Like take their win total over just by Urban Meyer not being there. I think the Jaguars are gonna get a bounce just by not having that fucking asshole around finger of the year... I think I'm gonna buy the Jaguars. I'm calling my shot right now.

The Jaguars won 9 games and the AFC South in 2022, easily clearing their preseason win total (6.5).

Bill Russell is the most 'Mount Rushmore-able' NBA player ever

[Bill Russell] might be the most Mount Rushmoreable professional basketball player of all time. Like on various Mount Rushmores. Yeah. As far as like what he did obviously for the Celtics, he's maybe the most clutch postseason player of all time. He was 10 and 0 in elimination games in the playoffs.

Russell is widely considered a top 4-5 player in NBA history, making him a standard fixture on basketball Mount Rushmores.

The NBA should retire Bill Russell's number 6 league-wide

Retire his number. Yeah. All across the league. He was, I like, let's go Hank. He's got the MVP trophy right? So yeah. I agree. Retire his number. Yes. Good call Hank.

The NBA officially retired the number 6 league-wide on August 11, 2022, shortly after this episode.

Miami of Ohio 100% deserves to be in the NCAA Tournament despite their first-round loss

I think a hundred percent they should be in. We need to just focus on the fact that there, I believe 31 and one and not do anything about strength of schedule. If you're able to go an entire season without losing a game that's hard to just wake up every day and not stumble once. I wanna see what happens when they play their first quad win one game in the middle of March.

This is part of the satirical 'Future' bit; Miami of Ohio was not 31-1 in 2026 (or 2024).

Conference tournaments are bad for top teams because they don't improve your seeding and lead to unnecessary fatigue

I'm kind of done with the conference tournaments. Like they just fuck you. It doesn't make your seed better and you end up being more tired today. If you have to play four games, you're just gonna get screwed.

The value of conference tournaments for high-seeded teams is a perennial debate in sports media.

Kyler Murray will be the next Sam Darnold now that he's with the Vikings

Kyler Murray is a Viking. We all kind of expected it. It happened. He's going to be the next Sam Darnold. The NFC North now has three number one picks at quarterback with Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams, Jared Goff. Kind of cool.

Kyler Murray did not sign with the Vikings; this is part of the episode bit.
