Noah Syndergaard needs to leave the Mets because their medical staff is terrible

Noah [Syndergaard]... maybe go to a different team because it seems like the Mets doctors probably aren't the best... Any name with silent letters in it. Weak. I don't trust it.

The Mets medical staff has been a punchline for years, and Syndergaard's repeated injury setbacks eventually led to him leaving the team in 2021, though he never quite regained his elite form elsewhere.

Losing by four goals in the playoffs is better than losing in a heartbreaker

I would rather we lose the game by four goals than lose the game in a heartbreak or an overtime. That's demoralizing. Because now it's like you're a little bit embarrassed. You've got that chip on your shoulder in game three.

Subjective sports logic; it didn't help as the Caps lost the series to the Penguins in 7 games.

The Capitals will be worse next year because they won't be able to keep their current roster together

I'm pretty sure the Capitals, I haven't gone deep into their cap next year, but I'm pretty sure they won't be able to bring everyone back. They won't be able to make a bunch of trades. They're probably not going to be as good. So next year, you probably won't think it's your year.

The Capitals actually won the Stanley Cup the following year (2018), so they were significantly better, not worse.

The city of Edmonton does not actually exist

I don't think the town of Edmonton actually exists. I don't know anyone that's ever been there. I'm a big-time Edmonton truther. The whole city is filled with crisis actors.

The city of Edmonton definitively exists.

College basketball has five absolutely dominant teams this year

We have five, you could even maybe go to six, just absolutely dominant teams. Michigan, UConn, Duke, Arizona, and Florida that are playing at such an insane level.

The dominance of these teams will be tested in the upcoming NCAA tournament in March 2026.

Florida can win the national championship because they can shoot threes now

Florida though, I've been talking about Florida for three weeks. They could shoot threes now. They absolutely kicked [Arkansas's]... They just throttle teams. All four of [Duke, Michigan, Arizona, Florida] would be the best team in the previous five years.

Whether Florida wins the title or performs as an elite team will be decided by the end of March Madness.

Miami of Ohio will make the tournament even if they lose in the conference tournament

I'm saying right now, winning every... If they go undefeated in the conference, that is so hard to do. I think if they go undefeated in the conference and then lose in the conference tournament, I think they will be in.

This will be resolved on Selection Sunday, March 15th, 2026.
