The National Championship between Alabama and Georgia will be the most physical of the playoff era

I don't know if you'll see a game of this magnitude be as physical as these two teams are going to make it. That's what they both pride themselves on.

The game was a defensive slugfest for three quarters before Tua Tagovailoa's entrance opened it up.

The young Rams will be back and this isn't the last you've heard from them

Sean Connery McVay was unable to defend the Rock. But his arrow is pointing up on this Rams team, and this won't be the last you hear from these kids.

The Rams returned to the playoffs and made the Super Bowl the very next season.

Andy Reid is one of the best coaches in the NFL

I actually think Andy Reid's one of the best coaches in the NFL. But how long he's been coaching in the NFL, that this meltdown didn't even register on the Andy Reid meltdown scale.

Reid went on to win three Super Bowls and is considered a future Hall of Famer.

Marcus Mariota is better than Jameis Winston

Marcus Mariota impressed me. That's the guy I believe in. That's the guy who I've, whenever someone says Jameis Winston versus Marcus Mariota, my answer is always Marcus Mariota.

Both players ultimately became backups; Winston had a higher statistical ceiling (5,000 yard season) while Mariota struggled with injuries and benchings.

The best indicators for a recruit's success are the uncles on the mother's side

If you can meet mom and then if you meet one of her brothers. The uncles from mom's sides are usually the greatest indicators of what you're gonna get... DNA means a lot.

This is a scouting philosophy rather than a verifiable fact, but Bielema treats it as a 'fact claim' of high-level coaching.

Teams that throw it all over the place cannot win consistently

I think the balance of running... the teams that throw it all over the place, just you can't win consistently. You can get a hot hand, you got a great quarterback, maybe some receivers, but you can't win consistently.

The recent dominance of pass-heavy offenses in both NFL and College Football provides significant counter-evidence to this take.

Sony Michel is the bell cow of the Georgia backfield

Either one of those senior running backs. I'm probably a little bit more to Sony just because I think he's got a little bit more extra. You know what I mean?

Michel was indeed the explosive playmaker in the Rose Bowl and lead back in many key situations that year.
