Spencer Rattler will never start another game for Oklahoma barring injury

Spencer Rattler, to your point, I don't think Spencer Rattler is going to start another game at Oklahoma barring injury over the next couple of years. Caleb Williams came in and galvanized the team. So if Lincoln [Riley] stood in front of the team and said, hey, we're going back to Spencer, he would lose every player in there.

Rattler remained the backup for the rest of the season and transferred to South Carolina shortly after.

The Red Sox are a team of destiny and are going to the World Series

Red Sox, Team of Destiny. I think they're going deep in Socktober. They're going to the World Series. They have something about them that is going to... I don't know what it is.

The Red Sox lost to the Houston Astros in the 2021 ALCS and did not reach the World Series.

NFL commissioners should be considered a protected class

NFL commissioners, it's a protected class. Look it up, Big Cat... Roger Goodell, when he saw it, like, okay, the first email got leaked on Friday... He also insulted Roger Goodell and called him gay. Fire that motherfucker right now.

Hot TakeFootballHotSarcastic
The NFL is a private entity and can prioritize whatever internal conduct it wants; however, commissioners are not a legally protected class in the way PFT is implying.

Mark Davis should be the interim head coach of the Raiders

Mark Davis should be the coach. Give us Mark Davis as the coach of the Raiders today. Why not? [Al Davis] did it. His dad did it. He would be awesome.

OpinionFootballHotSarcastic
The Raiders named Rich Bisaccia as the interim head coach, not Mark Davis.

The Los Angeles Rams are the most trustworthy team in the NFL right now

If you force me to pick one, I'd probably say the Rams. Matthew Stafford is playing at an MVP level. The defense is young, it's outstanding. ... I clearly trust the Rams more than anybody. I think they've been the most consistent team so far.

The Rams were one of the most trustworthy (12-5, MVP QB, NFCCG), but the Seahawks (14-3, SB champs) were ultimately more trustworthy.

The quarterbacks for Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, and Arizona are the highest-paid players on their teams but are not the best players

Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, Arizona—you know what those four teams have in common? The quarterback is the highest paid player on the team, but he's not the best player. ... when you have that dynamic... there's always something when the guy making the most money is not the best player.

The ranking of 'best player' is subjective, though the compensation is a fact.

This will be AJ Brown's last season with the Philadelphia Eagles

This is my gut feeling. I think this is AJ Brown's last season in Philadelphia. I think regardless of whether they win the championship or not, I think they're gonna move on from him. And Howie Roseman will continue to do what he's done masterfully, which is rebuild this team.

Whether Brown is traded or released after the 2025 season is pending.
