Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final will go to overtime

I think it's going overtime, which I didn't think it ever happened. Somebody told me it did. It might've been in the twenties or thirties for all I know. But game seven overtime for the Stanley Cup. I feel like this season's been so crazy that it might happen tonight.

The game ended 2-1 in regulation, so it did not go to overtime.

The Boston Celtics championship parade was the biggest in NBA history

Biggest, biggest parade in NBA championship history. Is that a fact? 1.5 million people.

The 2019 Toronto Raptors parade reportedly had an estimated 2 million people, making the claim that the Celtics parade was definitively the 'biggest in history' likely incorrect.

If the Oilers win Game 7, it will be the most iconic moment in Stanley Cup Finals history

This would be, I think, the most iconic moment in Stanley Cup finals history. If they're able to pull [off the comeback].

Subjective opinion on historical ranking, but grounded in the rarity of a 3-0 comeback.

The College World Series Jello shot challenge is officially ruined

What ruined it for me was someone said that they have them prepackaged and people show up and just buy a bunch and then like walk away. And like, that's not in the spirit of the rules. You should have to take the jello shot for it to count.

The rules of the 'challenge' are informal and set by the bar, but he is correct that remote/pre-packaged orders changed the dynamic.

Connor McDavid is playing the best hockey of his career in this Olympic tournament

I don't know if McDavid's ever been this good... It's incredible. Like I think he gave guys maybe six or seven grade A scoring chances. He had seven shots on his own. Then the Finnish coach today said, yeah, McDavid is the best player in this tournament by a mile.

McDavid's brilliance is widely acknowledged, though 'best ever' is always debatable.

Sidney Crosby's Olympic injury is likely an MCL sprain

He was trying to stabilize on his right leg and it just, it opened up, which to me speaks MCL sprain... I'm hoping it's not too bad and it's just a grade one, maybe two MCL sprain.

Crosby's injury status was a major storyline during the 2026 Olympics.

Team USA has a better defensive corps than Canada, but Canada has significantly better forwards

The D's better overall. I believe their forwards are significantly better than ours... Crosby being out, it's scary. And if he's out, that's a big difference... On D our D's better, their forwards are better.

A widely held scouting assessment of the two 2026 Olympic rosters.
