Rob Gronkowski is no longer the same player and will be available this offseason

This offseason, I'd bet your money and my money, Rob Gronkowski is probably going to be available this offseason. And people are going to say, man, Gronk's available. But if you watch Gronk play, Gronk isn't the same Gronk anymore. Like he can't run the way he used to.

Gronkowski retired in March 2019, confirming he was 'available' in the sense of being done with the Patriots. He eventually returned with the Bucs in 2020.

Jason Garrett is the dumbest person alive for playing his starters in Week 17

Jason Garrett wins the Are You the Dumbest Person Alive Award for playing all his starters because he desperately – now, I don't know what you think, but I think it was clear that Jason Garrett wanted to win 10 games so that when Jerry Jones goes to his office next year and is like, hey, I'm thinking about firing you, he's like, but I won 10 games.

The Cowboys beat the Giants 36-35, and while they didn't suffer a catastrophic injury to a star in that specific game, the logic of risking players for a round number in wins is a common point of debate.

The rest of the AFC North should be terrified of the Browns in 2019

By the way, if I'm in the AFC North next year, I'm terrified [of the] Browns. That's the big thing. I don't care who their coach is as long as his name isn't Hue [Jackson].

The 2019 Browns were a major disappointment, finishing 6-10 despite the hype, leading to Freddie Kitchens being fired after one season.

Mike McCarthy will be the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns

It's going to be Mike McCarthy. Yeah. He's interviewing them, I think, tomorrow. Oh, and he's got it. Yeah. It's just a formality.

Freddie Kitchens was hired as the Browns head coach for 2019; McCarthy did not take a coaching job that year.

The Los Angeles Rams are the most trustworthy team in the NFL right now

If you force me to pick one, I'd probably say the Rams. Matthew Stafford is playing at an MVP level. The defense is young, it's outstanding. ... I clearly trust the Rams more than anybody. I think they've been the most consistent team so far.

The Rams were one of the most trustworthy (12-5, MVP QB, NFCCG), but the Seahawks (14-3, SB champs) were ultimately more trustworthy.

The quarterbacks for Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, and Arizona are the highest-paid players on their teams but are not the best players

Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, Arizona—you know what those four teams have in common? The quarterback is the highest paid player on the team, but he's not the best player. ... when you have that dynamic... there's always something when the guy making the most money is not the best player.

The ranking of 'best player' is subjective, though the compensation is a fact.

This will be AJ Brown's last season with the Philadelphia Eagles

This is my gut feeling. I think this is AJ Brown's last season in Philadelphia. I think regardless of whether they win the championship or not, I think they're gonna move on from him. And Howie Roseman will continue to do what he's done masterfully, which is rebuild this team.

Whether Brown is traded or released after the 2025 season is pending.
