Miami is my Game of the Year against Iowa State

Miami's the game of the year. Fuck it. I might just flip my winnings from tonight responsibly. Miami's the game of the year I'm going to be going... making another game of the year. Fuck I, that was my original game.

Miami beat Iowa State 70-56 on March 25, 2022. Big Cat won his Game of the Year.

Gonzaga is never going to win a national championship

Gonzaga is like, does I don't there'll be back. I'm sure they have great recruits and everything, but damn, that's a [loss]. That's never going to get to a final four [again].

Gonzaga has still not won a national championship since this take was made, though they have remained a top-tier program.

Coach K will lose the game immediately after his 100th career tournament victory

Of course [Coach K] is going to get to 100. He's probably going to lose the next game so he can walk away with exactly a hundred clean wins, just straight up three figures. Okay. You get it. Great job, Coach K, a hundred. Everyone's going to remember that for all time. We'll look back on it 50 years from now... oh yeah, Coach K had a hundred wins. Of course he wasn't going to lose at 99.

This was shockingly prescient. Duke beat Arkansas for Coach K's 100th win and then lost to UNC in the very next game (Final Four).

Drew Timme does not have the killer instinct

I'm going to say it right now. Drew Timme doesn't have the killer instinct. I love that [drop step] move. But yeah... [Chet Holmgren] got in foul trouble and they kept just going right at them.

Timme and Gonzaga failed to reach the Final Four as the top seed, lending some weight to the criticism of their 'killer instinct' in that specific tournament run.

Betting the over on Alabama basketball is a cheat code

Alabama by the way is a cheat code if you want to get in on it. It's just betting their overs. They just never stopped missing. This has been like, oh, two weeks now they're over under for the first half was 45 and a half points last night. They scored 69 in the first half.

The 'cheat code' status of a team's over is based on a specific run of games; eventually, Vegas adjusts the lines.

I am offering a $10,000 bounty to find the UNC staffer who punched a Duke staffer

I will not sleep until we find this UNC staffer who punched one of your guys... Let's put a bounty on it. I will offer $5,000. [PFT]: I'll match. [Big Cat]: $10,000 if anyone can find the UNC person who punched a Duke staffer after the game. $10,000 cash. Give us the footage leading to their arrest.

The bounty itself is a factual offer made by the hosts.

Tua Tagovailoa's market value is non-existent relative to his contract

Everything's on the table for the Dolphins. Tua could be a fullback. What would you... What do you think the Dolphins would say yes to for a trade for Tua? Like a sixth round pick for Tua? A jugs machine? I don't know what the hell would Tua's market be?

The Dolphins' internal view on 'everything being on the table' is a subjective claim about team strategy.
