Caleb Williams is the clutchest quarterback in the NFL this season

I'm fully in on the Iceman nickname because that's what he is. That's what Caleb Williams is. He's the clutchest quarterback in the NFL this season. Him doing the cold [celebration] after hitting the DJ Moore in for the touchdown game winning touchdown was insane.

Caleb Williams led the NFL in game-winning drives (6) in the 2025 season.

The Saints would be in the playoffs if they had started Tyler Shough from week one

If you handicap that with the Saints overall, that's pretty shucking good. If they had started Tyler Shough in from week one. Are they in the playoffs... I think they're in that division.

The Saints missed the playoffs by 2 games; it's a subjective hypothetical if Shough would have flipped early losses.

The Eagles might still stink despite clinching the NFC East

I think this team might still stink. They were losing to the Commanders... we were losing with three minutes to go in the third quarter. I'm not very confident in this team, if we're being completely honest.

The Eagles finished the season and their postseason performance would determine this, but as an opinion on a live win, it's subjective.

The Eagles will be the team that everyone wrote off who ends up winning the Super Bowl

I feel like the Eagles are one of those teams that, because they had a little hiccup there in the middle of the season, they're now getting healthier. I feel like the Eagles are gonna be the team that everyone has written off and they're the Super Bowl champs.

The Eagles lost in the Wild Card to the 49ers 19-23. They did not win the Super Bowl.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
