Colorado is officially 'more back' than Nebraska

A team that had no hope and was like in utter despair has beaten Nebraska to the back meter and, and maybe Nebraska can win on Saturday and that they get more back. But right now Colorado is more back than Nebraska.

This is subjective, but Colorado's subsequent 4-8 season vs Nebraska's 5-7 season suggests neither was fully 'back', though Colorado certainly owned the national spotlight early.

Colorado will beat Nebraska by 30 points next week

I'm on your side. You're going to win by 30 against Nebraska.

Colorado beat Nebraska 36-14 on Sept 9, 2023. This was a 22-point win, which is dominant but short of the 30-point prediction.

If Texas beats Alabama, they will be officially 'more back' than Colorado

Now if Texas wins on Saturday, [Texas] is more back than Colorado I think. Texas and Tuscaloosa for sure. Yeah, absolutely. We're on back watch right now.

Texas defeated Alabama on the road and had a dominant season resulting in a CFP berth, while Colorado's season plateaued after a hot start.

Brian Kelly is the most unlikable coach in college football

In terms of football coaches though, [Brian Kelly] is probably the most least likable football coach in college football right now. So when you lose, I can't feel bad 'cause I just, Brian Kelly's so unlikable as a person.

This is a purely subjective opinion about a coach's likability.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
