Dennis Rodman made rebounding 'cool' and 'sexy'

I love Dennis Rodman. I've always loved Dennis Rodman. He made rebounding cool. He made rebounding like seem like a sexy thing. He was so fucking incredible.

This is a subjective opinion on the aesthetic or 'cool' factor of a basketball skill.

Dennis Rodman is a role model for finding a niche and becoming the best at it

I actually do think that Dennis Rodman is role model in a weird way in that if you can figure out something that you're the best at, it doesn't matter what weird little niche category it is in life. If there's one thing that you're better than everybody else that are more focused on, steer into that and get well really, really good at that and be known as the best to ever do that and you will be extremely successful.

The value of specializing in a niche is a widely accepted business and success philosophy, though calling Rodman a 'role model' is the provocative part.

Michael Jordan's switch-hand layup against the Lakers was completely unnecessary

The layup that Michael Jordan had in the finals against the Lakers where he jumps in the air and switches hands—completely unnecessary to do that. It's a cool-looking highlight, he didn't need to do that. You could have just done a finger roll with his right hand; he switched to his left hand because it looked cool.

While physically true (he had a clear right-handed lane), the take is a value judgment on the necessity of style.

Michael Jordan will always view Scottie Pippen as 'weak' because of the migraine game

I honestly think the MJ Pippen relationship is so fascinating because I know that Michael Jordan knows deep down that Scottie Pippen was all time player and he needed them every bit for all these championships. But he has that one the migraine game... I think there's a part of Michael Jordan who will always look at [Pippen] and be like when the chips are down, you're just weak.

The documentary itself and subsequent interviews suggest Jordan did harbor lasting frustration over Pippen's physical setbacks, supporting the 'spirit' of this take.

UNC is one of the true blue blood jobs in college basketball

This is a job that doesn't come open very often. And it is a true blue blood job... It is the logo of a team that's won a ton of national titles and a ton of Final Fours. It is literally one of the blue bloods.

UNC's historical success, tournament wins, and titles objectively categorize them as a blue blood.

I've fallen hard and fast for Ben McCollum - he's a rock star coach

I've fallen hard and fast for Ben McCollum. He just wins everywhere. Ben McCollum always talking about toughness. I've fallen hard. I've read a lot of Ben McCollum this last week after beating Florida. This guy fucking rocks.

Subjective opinion on a coach's quality.

The Cubs are the second best team in the NL and will reach the NLCS

I think the Cubs are gonna be really fucking good. I think they're the second best team in the NL so I guess my expectations might be a little too high, but I think they're gonna be really, really good. I think they should definitely win the NL Central and be in the NLCS.

Predicting the Cubs to be the second-best team in the entire National League is a bold stance given the Dodgers and Braves.
