Frank Ragnow who played last game for the Lions with a fractured throat... Frank, Calvin Johnson retired, Barry Sanders retired. They realized that this was a losing proposition to be on the Detroit Lions. You have a fractured throat on a 5 and 11 team. You can sit there. It's a weird throat to die on. No one would blame you if you sat out for the rest of the season.
