Jake Paul is starting to become a real boxer and his presence is good for the sport

Jake Paul... he's starting to get to be a real boxer. I think it's good for boxing because it gets more people tuning into combat sports.

This is a subjective opinion on the state of boxing and Jake Paul's growth as a professional athlete.

Ben Roethlisberger won the game against the Vikings even though the Steelers lost

That was vintage Big Ben in the second half to bring them back. He made the perfect throw to Pat Freiermuth. I say Big Ben won this game. He won this game.

The Steelers lost the game 36-28. Ben played well in the second half, but he literally lost the game.

Ben Roethlisberger has at least three more seasons left in him

I don't think that this Big Ben that we saw in the second half is even a year away from... Nope. That was fake news. Big Ben's got minimum three more seasons left.

Ben Roethlisberger retired from the NFL following the conclusion of the 2021 season, playing zero additional seasons after this take.

The Steelers officially have a major problem with their rush defense

A hundred plus rush yards allowed in the first half by a running back under Mike Tomlin. First 234 games as a head coach: zero. Last three games: two. Steelers might have a rush defense problem.

The 2021 Steelers finished the regular season ranked 32nd (last) in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game and rushing yards allowed per attempt.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
