Jaxon Smith-Njigba should be talked about as the best wide receiver in football

[Jaxon Smith-Njigba] is just a cheat code. His hands are so good. He catches anything that's close to him. His body control, his, he's just, he's just an absolute phenom. We talked about it all year. That he is, he should be talked about as the best wide receiver in football.

Subjective ranking of wide receivers.

New England Patriots success is inevitable and I am done fighting against it

I am done fighting against Hank. I'm done fighting against Patriots fans. It's you, you'd have better luck rooting for the tide not to come in. You'd have better luck rooting for the sun not to rise in the east every morning. I've made the decision to just profit off of it because it's inevitable... they're just a franchise that has a horseshoe shoved up their ass and you can accept it or you can fight against the inevitable and be miserable. I'm choosing love. I'm choosing to love the Patriots from now on because Hank was right.

The Denver Broncos would have beaten the Patriots if Bo Nix had started

[Big Cat]: If Bo Nix starts that game, do you think the Broncos win? [PFT]: Yeah. [Big Cat]: Yeah. It's safe to say Bo Nix would've bojangled fried these guys.

The outcome is unknowable as the game finished with Stidham, but it's a testable counter-factual in the sense of the pod's logic.

Drake May is tied for the best winning percentage in conference championship history (100%), while Jayden Daniels is tied for last (0%)

Drake May is tied for winning percentage in conference championship games. [It's] a hundred percent. Jayden Daniels is tied for dead last at 0%.

Drake May did win his conference championship in Jan 2026. This take is inherently subjective/troll-based in how it frames the comparison.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
