All of [Jeff Fisher's] players are going to the NFC Championship game, and I love it because it just solidifies that Jeff Fisher is the best coach in football.

Fisher had been fired by the Rams the previous season; the Rams and Eagles both featured significant rosters he helped build.

The Divisional Round should be renamed the 'Best Fucking Weekend of Football of the Year'

I just nominate, we call it the best fucking weekend of football of the year.

The weekend featured the 'Minneapolis Miracle' and a high-scoring Jags/Steelers shootout, making it arguably the best of the season.

The Vikings' win over the Saints was a 'stay of execution' and they will still lose in heartbreaking fashion

[It] kind of feels like a stay of execution for Vikings fans. Because they are destiny. You know, it would actually be, I hate to say it, the most Vikings end to a season if they lost a Super Bowl in heartbreaking fashion in front of their home fans... They're going to win next weekend, and it's going to be – God, I feel so bad for them in advance.

The Vikings were crushed 38-7 by the Eagles the following week in the NFC Championship, ending the 'destiny' narrative abruptly.

The Saints should blow up the Drew Brees and Sean Payton era

Not to brag what I called it, but you should probably blow up the Drew Brees, Sean Payton Saints. Didn't win a Super Bowl.

The Saints did not blow it up; they went 13-3 the next year and remained Super Bowl contenders until Brees retired in 2021.

The NFL is testing its way toward Tuesday and Wednesday games

Florio basically was like the NFL is testing out putting teams three times in a row on primetime because we're going to get to a point where they start playing Tuesday and Wednesday games. And I believe it.
