Karl-Anthony Towns is a bum for his no-show performance against the Grizzlies

I'm done with Karl-Anthony Towns. I'm definitely done with him... He's a bum. I don't know what to say. Like he has to basically, he now has a legacy series that his hands he has to come out and dominate the next like three games to restore his legacy because now the play-in game and then tonight [Game 3] he was a complete no-show.

While KAT had a bad game, calling him a 'bum' and being 'done' with him is subjective, though he did struggle for much of that series.

Patrick Beverley is at his best when he is angry and disrespected, rather than happy and praised

Patrick Beverley needs to get more pissed off. I think he's too happy... he's been respected too much recently. Patrick Beverley needs to get angry again. He's too happy. I think people have respected Patrick Beverley a little bit too much the last week... he's at his best when he's got a chip on his shoulder.

Subjective opinion on a player's mindset.

My live-betting strategy of taking teams down by 15-20 points in the first half is a winning system

It's a strategy though. It's a system. If a team is down by like 10 to 15, 20 points and it's still the first half, there's a live bet moneyline the other team. It's a simple system... no lead is safe in the NBA, especially in the playoffs.

The Grizzlies actually came back from 26 down in this specific game, validating Hank's 'system' for one night, though as a long-term betting strategy, it's highly debatable.

There is no chance the Celtics sweep the Brooklyn Nets

He's [Kevin Durant] going to have 50 in one of those games... It has to happen... [A sweep] would be crazy. It's still going to be a womping... there's no chance there's a sweep.

The Celtics swept the Brooklyn Nets 4-0.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
