Mitch Trubisky plays completely differently when he has confidence

I'm going to say about here and now when [Trubisky]'s playing with confidence, different guy. Even his interception was good because he pinned them at the one. His confidence, his decision-making, Matt Nagy's play-calling has been phenomenal in the last two games.

While Trubisky had a great game here, his lack of consistency and overall career trajectory suggest that confidence alone wasn't enough to sustain high-level play.

The Bears now have a 75% chance of making the playoffs

I must say the Bears now have a 75% chance of making the playoffs. [PFT: That's right].

The Bears finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs.

Lamar Jackson will be the NFL MVP and Joe Burrow will win the Heisman

Lamar Jackson is probably going to be the MVP right? Joe Burrow is likely going to be the Heisman. This I think will be the first year that the Heisman winner would be older than the NFL MVP.

Lamar Jackson won the 2019 MVP and Joe Burrow won the 2019 Heisman. At the time of the awards, Burrow was 23 and Lamar was 22.

Jerry Jones will not fire Jason Garrett this season because they are in first place

He's not going to fire Jason Garrett this season... because they're still in first place and still control their own destiny, you can't fire him.

Garrett coached the full season and was let go after the Cowboys failed to make the playoffs in Week 17.

The Brewers are the best team in baseball

They're the best team at baseball all year, and they proved it. They absolutely decimated the Dodgers.

The Brewers had reached the World Series and were described in the episode as having the best regular season; whether they were definitively the best team is partly subjective.

Bo Nix's problem is getting bigger

The Bo Nix problem seems to be getting bigger and bigger. What are we watching?

This is a judgment about Nix's trajectory and the Broncos' confidence in him, not a binary factual prediction.

A 24-team playoff is ruining college football

We're moving to a 24-team playoff. It just sucks. We don't need 24 teams. Twelve is probably a stretch already. What made college football special was the regular season mattered so much.

Whether playoff expansion improves or harms college football is an evaluative judgment.
