NFL teams are essentially 'guessing' when it comes to head coaching hires

Well, I mean, all these hires, you're basically just guessing. Yeah. I mean, you know, a lot of them, there's some that you're like, okay, that should work. But there's also times when it should work and it doesn't work and the opposite happens.

This is a subjective opinion on the efficacy of NFL front offices.

I bet on Josh Dobbs to win Super Bowl MVP for the Patriots

I got a massive bet on the Patriots. I also put a bet on, on Josh Dobbs to win Super Bowl MVP. The New England Patriot, Patriot... Big time Patriot.

Josh Dobbs did not win Super Bowl MVP as the Patriots lost.

A Patriots loss in Super Bowl 60 would make them the LeBron James of the NFL due to historical losses

If we lose this one, that's the most Super Bowl losses of any franchise ever. That'll put us number one... It would be the LeBron James of the NFL if we lost these, these, the Super Bowl today, because we, when we're tied with the Broncos... we can't be number one.

The Patriots did lose the Super Bowl, giving them 6 losses, which indeed became the most in NFL history, surpassing the Broncos.

The Arizona Cardinals head coaching job is a bad one to take

Obviously you take a job if it's offered to you, but that seems like a not great job to take. Because it's a, well, number one, it's the Cardinals. Number two, they don't really have a plan at quarterback at all. Number three, every other coach in your division rocks.

The Cardinals' success under Mike LaFleur is yet to be determined, though the NFC West remains one of the toughest divisions in the league.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
