Russell Wilson is no longer a top five NFL quarterback

It's just very bizarre to me that like Russell Wilson, he's not a top five quarterback right now. ... If you're talking about like the guys that are difference makers weekend and week out, he's not that. He hasn't been that for a little bit right now.

Russell Wilson's performance continued to fluctuate and eventually led to a disastrous trade to Denver, confirming he had fallen from the elite top-5 tier.

The Washington Football Team is 'good-ish' and trending toward being a genuinely good team

I actually think that if you're talking about the entire teams of this show, we are the Roy G. Biv, we're the colors of the rainbow in terms of football teams. ... I think the Washington football team is good-ish. ... I do think the Washington football team, if they are good, they are not good like yet. I think if they win next week... they're good. I would rather have Taylor Heinicke on my team moving forward than Russell Wilson

I would rather have Taylor Heinicke on my team right now, moving forward than Russell Wilson, which it sounds insane to say, especially thinking back like four or five weeks ago when he looked so bad, but he's, he's legitimately fun to watch.

Heinicke had a decent run but never became a franchise starter, whereas Wilson, despite his Denver struggles, remains a much more accomplished and generally more valuable asset, making this a classic PMT 'of-the-moment' hot take.

I would take Russell Wilson over Tom Brady for the rest of the 2021 season

I would take Russ, obviously over Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones. ... I'd take Russ over Brady.

Tom Brady led the league in passing yards and touchdowns in 2021, while Russell Wilson had one of his worst career seasons and missed the playoffs.

The Brewers' pressure created their 'lucky' breaks

That's not luck. That's just the Brewers and what they did to you mentally, where it's like you have to be perfect and almost made teams just become a worse version of themselves because of what the Brewers were doing to them.

This is an evaluative baseball argument rather than a claim with one definitive result.

The Bears are building around Jeffrey Simmons correctly

Jeffrey Simmons is an absolute game wrecker. Top three at his position, changes everyone around him. The Bears had a weakness in their defense, especially run defense. They made it a strength.

The assessment of Simmons' impact and positional ranking is partly subjective and will depend on his Chicago performance.
