The Buccaneers have a full-blown quarterback controversy

Deshaun Jackson proved our point that you have to keep riding Ryan Fitzpatrick. He said that you have to ride the hot hand. That is a full-blown quarterback controversy as far as I'm concerned.

The Bucs did flip-flop between Fitzpatrick and Winston multiple times throughout the 2018 season.

The Bears are a Super Bowl contender

I watched part of the game, and I'm telling you, this team is a Super Bowl contender. I'm dead serious. That defense. You're not telling me that defense—I mean, I agree, but shut up. The defense is Super Bowl caliber.

The Bears finished 12-4 and won the NFC North, but they were eliminated in the Wild Card round by the Eagles in the 'Double Doink' game.

The Bears will reach the NFC Championship game this year

I got out of the shower. I said, you know what? NFC Championship. Let's just settle with that. The thing is, you never want to win the Super Bowl the first year that the team's together. You want to go through the tough days and then the next year you build.

The Bears lost in the Wild Card round to the Eagles (the Double Doink game), failing to reach the NFC Championship.

The Bears will win the NFC North this year

This is your year to win that division. Aaron Rodgers is hurt. Kirk Cousins is a nerd. Matt Patricia lost the locker room. This is your year to win that division.

The Bears won the NFC North in 2018 with a 12-4 record.

Ben Johnson ran the illegal play wrong on purpose

I think Ben Johnson ran it wrong on purpose to put something on tape that then he can run a variation off of it.

This is an interpretation of coaching intent that cannot be definitively verified from the game broadcast.

The Bears are good

I think the Bears are good.

Whether the 2026 Bears are 'good' is ultimately a season-level subjective assessment.

The NFL is testing its way toward Tuesday and Wednesday games

Florio basically was like the NFL is testing out putting teams three times in a row on primetime because we're going to get to a point where they start playing Tuesday and Wednesday games. And I believe it.

This can be evaluated if the NFL introduces regular Tuesday or Wednesday games as described.
