The Buffalo Bills must win convincingly against the Raiders to get their swagger back

It feels like the Bills have to win this game and they have to win it convincingly to get their swagger back a little bit. It does feel like it's kind of, I don't want to sound the alarm so bad, but the bills just, they need to win. They need to win this game and they need to do it well and they need to win by a lot.

The Bills won 38-10, fulfilling the 'convincing' requirement.

The Minnesota Vikings are my 2023 pinky team and they won't win the Super Bowl

The Minnesota Vikings are my pinky team. It's official. They are not winning the season. I can't believe we got an early drop. Nowhere, nowhere close. They're 0-2 and I actually thought Kirk Cousins played okay tonight.

The Vikings did not win the Super Bowl in 2023, finishing with a losing record.

Justin Jefferson is currently the best wide receiver in the NFL

And also Justin Jefferson kind of has a case. He's the best receiver of the football right now. It would be nice if he won some games. It would suck to be that much better than everyone else and be like, why are we 0-2?

This is subjective, but Jefferson won Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 and remained elite in 2023 despite injury.

The 2023 Jacksonville Jaguars will treat their Week 2 game against the Chiefs as their Super Bowl

I am a little nervous about the fact that the Jags like this is, this will be kind of everything and then it will be fade hard the Jags next week. That makes me a little nervous that the Jaguars are like, oh this is our Super Bowl.

The Jaguars lost to the Chiefs 17-9 and then lost to the Texans 37-17 the following week, fulfilling the 'fade' prediction.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
