The Jaguars will fire Doug Pederson despite him not losing the locker room.

I think Doug Peterson never lost the locker room. They actually fought pretty hard in this game. He's gonna get fired... it would be funny if they just forgot to fire him because he should have [been fired] two months ago.

Doug Pederson was indeed fired by the Jaguars on January 13, 2025.

The Bills will demolish the Broncos in the Wild Card round

I think the Bills are going to fucking demolish the Broncos. [I] might, by the way, I think I saw the line open at seven and a half. If it, if it's seven or even six and a half, I might Game of the year. The bills.

The Bills demolished the Broncos 31-7 in the Wild Card round on January 12, 2025. Big Cat was spot on with this prediction.

The Chiefs will win their first playoff game in the divisional round

But this also is set up The Chiefs, you, you know, they're, they're set up for the playoffs. I know they're gonna have whatever, 25 days off or whatever it might be... they'll win their first game in the, in the divisional round.

The Chiefs defeated the Steelers 37-17 in the divisional round.

The Steelers are stuck in a cycle of 'good-ish' seasons followed by first-round exits.

you're going to see the, the exact same Steelers season repeat itself over and over again in the future... You're good-ish and you're always gonna be good-ish. You're gonna play teams hard, but you're probably not gonna do anything in the playoffs.

The Steelers lost to the Chiefs 37-17 in the Wild Card round, continuing the exact pattern PFT described.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
