The rule that disqualified Jordan Spieth for an incorrect scorecard is the dumbest rule ever

That Jordan Spieth rule was the, it's the dumbest rule ever because it's not even his, it's his partner filling out the scorecard and he signs it. That's stupid.

The rule is widely criticized by fans and media but remains an active USGA/R&A rule.

The Dunk Contest is unfixable because we have already seen every possible dunk

There's really no way to fix the Dunk Contest. I think they've jumped over the biggest human they can find... maybe it's just that we've seen every cool Dunk and there's only so many cool dunks that you can do.

The 2024 dunk contest was widely panned as one of the worst ever, supporting the idea that it is stale.

Mac McClung should be ineligible for the NBA Dunk Contest because he isn't an active NBA player

Mac McClung should be ineligible because he is not in the [NBA]... That is the NBA dunk contest, not the G League dunk contest. If you're going to do that, just bring people off the street.

Subjective opinion on exhibition eligibility rules.

A G-League player who wins the NBA Dunk Contest should receive a two-week NBA contract

If you win the Dunk contest and you're on a G League team, you should get like a two week contract.

Mac McClung won in 2024 and did not receive an immediate NBA call-up following the event.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
