This might actually be the Washington Capitals' year to win the Stanley Cup

Today is Friday, May 25th, and might actually be the Caps year. Like, it's still shocking that they're in the Stanley Cup Finals. And I'm not saying this in a mean way because I, too, root for and have rooted for loser franchises, but, like, the Caps were a loser franchise. So to get over that mountain, it takes a lot.

The Capitals went on to defeat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-1 to win their first Stanley Cup in 2018.

Tom Wilson is a star and a complete badass

Tom Wilson, that dude's a star. I fucking love Tom Wilson. He's a badass. We make fun of him a lot because he tries to cut people's head off with his skates. And he like intentionally hits people in the head... but he's no longer on fraud watch.

Tom Wilson became a key part of the Capitals' championship core and signed a massive extension, validating his status as a top-line player.

Both the Eastern Conference Finals and Western Conference Finals went to a Game 7 in 2018.

The Warriors' lack of bench depth makes Andre Iguodala being out a series-ruining injury

Iguodala being out ruins everything the Warriors do because they don't have a bench. That's the problem with super teams. Can't get a bench.

The Warriors eventually won the series and the title, but the loss of Iguodala was widely cited as the reason the Rockets pushed them to seven games.

The NFL is testing its way toward Tuesday and Wednesday games

Florio basically was like the NFL is testing out putting teams three times in a row on primetime because we're going to get to a point where they start playing Tuesday and Wednesday games. And I believe it.

This can be evaluated if the NFL introduces regular Tuesday or Wednesday games as described.
