Drake Maye is not the Patriots' problem

Is Drake Maye a fraud? Our problem is our offensive line. We can't run the ball either. We can't throw, we can't fucking run. And then what happens? We have three-and-outs and our defense has to keep coming out.

Whether Maye is a fraud and how much blame belongs to the offensive line are evaluative judgments.

The Brewers have the Dodgers beaten psychologically

I feel like Brewers kind of got 'em where they want him psychologically—two in a row, started the series off, and the Dodgers are panicking now.

This is an interpretation of the teams' mental state, so it is inherently subjective.

The Rams will win at least 11 games

If you're gonna look for a bet right now, take the Rams over 10 and a half wins. They're fine. I'll say they'll be seven and three at or six and four at worst—seven and three most likely—going into the Packers game on Thanksgiving.

The Rams' 2026 regular-season win total will not be resolved until the NFL regular season ends.

Baseball's expanded playoffs are a money grab

The divisional round of the playoffs, you're seeing these guys shaking up champagne. It's like, dude, this is a money grab by MLB. It's a second- and third-place team. They were seven, eight games out of first and they made the playoffs.

The claim that the format is a money grab is an interpretation of league incentives, while the references to lower-place teams are factual context.

The NBA should turn on the three-point line only late in quarters

I would get rid of the defensive three-second rule. I'd get rid of the three-point line until the final two minutes of each quarter. Then it lights up, then you can take your threes. And we get back to pick-and-rolls, give-and-goes and backdoor passes and actually dunking on somebody.

This is a proposed rule preference and cannot be objectively judged as correct or incorrect.

The two-point conversion should require back-to-back touchdowns

The two-point conversion—everybody psychologically thinks it's easy because it's only two points. It's like, no, you have to score back-to-back touchdowns. Just kick the fucking extra point.

This is a subjective argument about football strategy and scoring rules.
