Matt Nagy has officially lost the Bears locker room

As a head coach, when you lose games, that's one thing. But when you lose the players in the locker room, it's over for you. [Nagy] has definitely lost the locker room. He's lost it. It's over.

Nagy managed to keep his job for one more year and even stumbled into a playoff appearance this season, but the culture never fully recovered and he was eventually fired.

The Bucs' blowout loss to the Saints was so bad they should just throw out the tape and move on

Is it better that the Bucs lost so bad that they can just throw this one out? You throw the tape out. Bruce Arians is not going to take this game seriously... he is going to hit the delete button on it. I'm also concerned just with his sideline appearance in general... it appears that Bruce Arians has a bomb strapped to his chest at all times.

The Bucs actually did bounce back and eventually beat the Saints in the playoffs on their way to a Super Bowl win, proving that throwing out the tape was the right move.

I wouldn't give Russell Wilson an MVP vote right now because Patrick Mahomes is better

Russell Wilson is not the MVP. Patrick Mahomes is starting to play incredible football. He's like so Patrick Mahomes is 25 touchdowns one interception... if I had to do the MVP voting right this second, I wouldn't give Russell Wilson an MVP vote.

Russell Wilson ended up finishing the 2020 season with zero MVP votes again. Aaron Rodgers won the award.

If you take Russell Wilson off the Seahawks, they would be the West Coast Dallas Cowboys

I think you can make the argument that because his defense is so bad that that is actually saying that Russell Wilson... is the most valuable player in that if you were to take him off of his team... they would be the West Coast Dallas Cowboys, right? Except way way way worse.

This is a subjective comparison of team value, but Wilson's subsequent departure years later did result in a decline for Seattle, though not quite to Cowboys levels.

I will never admit to losing a race, even to Randy Moss

I'm never going to say I'm going to lose a race. One of the guys that probably would have presented the biggest challenge probably would have been Darrell Green. I just talked to him the other day too, man. He probably would have been the one that presented the most challenge in the prime.

Inherently unverifiable hypothetical between all-time greats in their primes.

95% of college football players are not going pro

I want these kids to go into the workforce and make a difference, man, because 95% of my [kids] are not going pro. That's for every program, 95% of the kids play for you are not going pro.

NCAA data generally supports that less than 2% of college football players make it to the NFL.

NIL deals at Power 5 schools are often just booster kickbacks, not real endorsements

Tell me what have you seen them [Power 5 recruits] endorse? ... How can you get a million dollars worth of endorsements for a kid at these power fives and nobody sees nothing? ... At least if you say you're going to do something, we got to at least see it. The NCAA should hold people accountable if they say they got a deal.

While NIL collectives often operate with less public commercial output than traditional endorsements, his claim that they are often 'kickbacks' is a widely held but difficult-to-verify industry perspective.
