Jacob Chychrun will be the biggest name defenseman moved at the deadline

For trade for defenseman right now the biggest name is Jacob Chychrun and he plays for the coyotes. ... I would say that he's gonna be a big name defenseman that moves at the close to the deadline.

Chychrun was indeed the most discussed defenseman and was traded to Ottawa in March 2023.

Tom Brady will never die

Tom Brady will never die. ... Even when he got the ball back again down seven or down six, you knew he was gonna win the game.

Brady won this game but eventually retired for good after the 2022 season following a playoff loss.

Tom Brady's arm is still there, but he clearly doesn't trust his offensive line anymore

His arm is still there. It's just that he doesn't trust his offensive line and it's so apparent... Because he doesn't want to get hit, why would you if you're 45 years old? He will bail out of plays early or he won't stand in it as long... He is dumping down constantly because he's like, I don't trust these guys.

While subjective, film analysis of the 2022 Bucs generally supported the idea that the offensive line was porous and Brady was getting the ball out faster than anyone in the league to avoid hits.

The Saints are afraid to play Jameis Winston because they know they mishandled his earlier injury

I have a conspiracy theory... I think the Saints know that they fucked up his injury when it happened when they put [Jameis Winston] back in. And I think that they're trying to make sure that they're doing the right thing for his health on the back end of it... That's why I think that we're not getting James. They're afraid to play him right now.

The Saints continued to start Andy Dalton over a healthy Winston for the remainder of the season, which fits the pattern, though the internal motivation remains unverified.

The NHL should move to a longer 3-on-3 overtime to avoid shootouts

I actually think that they should move to a longer three on three. Even if you added two extra minutes... I think would, would make a lot more games end in in in overtime as opposed to going to a shootout.

Shootouts remain a divisive topic in hockey, and many fans/players share this sentiment.

If Team USA and Canada meet in the final, it will go to overtime

I'll say that the way that the Olympics have gone so far, as far as the hockey, I think it's going to overtime. I think it's gonna be Canada, us.

USA and Canada met in the 2026 Olympic men's hockey gold medal final on February 22, 2026, and the game did go to overtime. The USA won 2-1 in OT on a Jack Hughes goal 1:41 into overtime.

Hockey is on the rise and the Four Nations tournament will be a high-stakes precursor to the Olympics

Hockey's on the rise man. On the rise. Hockey's on a heater as we always say on the podcast, the last two years. And on top of that, boys we're heading into an Olympic year. With all that Four Nations... precursor to the Olympics coming up. It ain't the Olympics. We all know that. But don't act like they weren't playing for something. They were playing for pride.

This is an inherently subjective opinion about the state of the sport and the prestige of a specific tournament.
