Derek Carr's confidence is like a balloon that pops as soon as anything goes wrong

Right when [Derek Carr] starts to really get his mojo going, if he does something to interfere with that confidence, then it's like a balloon that gets popped for the rest of the game and then he's just, you can't use him. He always looks super sympathetic... and people just look at him and it looks, he looks like a guy that's honestly locked himself in his room for 12 hours, listened to the Cure to get ready for the game.

This is a subjective character assessment of a player's mental state during games.

Baker Mayfield wears a padded headband so he can headbutt teammates without getting hurt

Baker Mayfield wears his little headband. Yeah. I think there's padding in it. So he keeps doing the headbutt thing and everyone's like, holy shit, what a psycho. He's like, no, I'm good. I noticed that after the game, and he was being very aggressive with his headbutts, but he was making sure to line it up right on the headband.

Baker is known for his aggressive headbutting celebrations, and while he does wear a headband, there is no proof it is specially padded beyond standard athletic fabric.

The 2022 season is actually Sean McVay's best coaching job ever

Actually the 2022 season was [Sean McVay's] best job as a head coach... they literally have lost their entire team and the season is lost and it's the worst Super Bowl defense ever statistically. But the fact that even the last three games, how the Rams have fought... they're fighting. I might give him my vote for Coach of the Year.

The Rams finished 5-12, the worst record ever for a defending Super Bowl champion. While McVay is a great coach, this season is universally regarded as his worst, not his best. He did not receive Coach of the Year votes.

Sean McVay should be the frontrunner for NFL Coach of the Year in 2022

they literally have lost their entire team and the season is lost and it's the worst, you know, super Bowl defense ever statistically. But the fact that like even the last three games, how the Rams have fought... I might give him my coach for my, my vote for Coach of the Year.

Sean McVay did not win Coach of the Year; Brian Daboll won it. The Rams finished 5-12.

The 2026 World Cup final was boring and sucked.

It was boring ass soccer. It sucked. It made me thankful that the World Cup's over, that football's back. Now we can get back into real football, which I'm very, very thankful for. But that was actually, I think that was the best way to end the World Cup, because I'm totally fine with no more soccer now.

Fanatics Fest is a cynical place designed only to take money from fans.

It also seems like the most cynical place ever. Like, you can go to an autograph festival or a fan festival and you know that the guys are being paid to be there. And they're still like, happy to see, interact with you, all that shit. It just seems like every single thing about being at that place is just designed to take money from the people that are there.

Bryson DeChambeau is being targeted by selective rule enforcement.

I think that Bryson definitely did it and it's definitely against the rules. And he got caught for it and they enforced it against him because he's a bad boy. He's had some run-ins before. I don't think the R&A or whatever, I don't think they're particularly happy with Bryson right now.
