Fans will clamor for Trey Lance the moment Dak Prescott throws his first interception

I am, I'm very much looking forward to though the first terrible interception. Yes. Dak Prescott throws. Yes. I will be clamoring, I'll be standing on the table for Trey Lance, which will [happen] exactly two weeks from right now.

Dak Prescott did throw an interception in his season opener (against the Giants), and the media/fanbase immediately started debating the Trey Lance backup dynamic.

Jason Garrett is a total buzzkill on the broadcast

There's no better way to kill your football buzz than having Jason Garrett call the game... I know it was week zero. I know there's only like seven games. They all, they all mean something to me. And then Jason Garrett was on there and I immediately fell in a nap in the second quarter.

Subjective opinion on broadcast quality.

The Pac-12 is dying because people can't watch stars like Caleb Williams play on their network

The returning Heisman Caleb Williams, who would probably be the number one pick in the draft and no one in America could watch it 'cause it was Pac-12 network... that could not have been the better way to tip off the last Pac-12 season opener to be like, hey, this is why we're dying. Because we can't watch fucking Caleb Williams play football.

The Pac-12 effectively collapsed shortly after this, largely due to media rights issues and lack of visibility.

The 2023 Commanders vs. Ravens matchup was the most important preseason game of all time

It is good to have games that mean something besides obviously the Commander's Ravens game, which was the most important preseason game of all time.

This is a subjective, satirical claim about a preseason game's importance.

The US loss to Turkey in the World Cup group stage means absolutely nothing

The second that we got scored on by Turkey in the last minute, don't really care at all that we lost that game. That game means less than nothing to us. No one's gonna remember what you did in that third game. We already advanced first in our group.

The US advanced as the top seed despite the loss, making the result literally irrelevant to their tournament survival.

Belgium's national soccer team isn't that good

I don't think that Belgium's that good. I'll say it. Maybe I'm looking past Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in Senegal path, I love it.

Belgium's tournament performance will determine if they are indeed 'not that good.'

VAR makes soccer a lot worse, especially for offsides calls.

I think that soccer is one sport that we can say the VAR it makes a lot of stuff worse. Yeah, the offsides on the VAR is so much worse.

This is a subjective opinion about the impact of VAR on the enjoyment of soccer.
