Jalen Hurts is a legit superstar and Lincoln Riley's offense is 'cold fusion'

Alabama had a great quarterback like Jalen Hurts, how unstoppable they would be. And he was fucking lighting it up, and Lincoln Riley... his PROS... to a college football coach, that's like discovering cold fusion.

Hurts finished 2nd in Heisman voting and led Oklahoma to the Playoff, so the take was largely validated.

The SEC is effectively dead and should relegate Tennessee or Missouri

SEC is pretty much dead. So I think they have to look at getting rid of either Tennessee or Mizzou at this point. If you lose a week one game against an inferior opponent, you should just become a member of whatever conference that they're from.

The SEC was far from dead; LSU (an SEC team) went on to have arguably the greatest season in CFB history and win the National Championship in 2019.

Florida State's week one loss is an easy fix because they just forgot to hydrate

Florida State's excuse is that the boys didn't drink enough water pregame. So they're going to get that fixed. They're going to get that turnaround. It's an easy fix.

Florida State went on to finish the 2019 season 6-7 and fired Willie Taggart in November, proving it was not an easy fix.

The Tennessee football program is suffering from the Curse of Greg Schiano

24-point favorites. I'll say it. Curse of Greg Schiano. All you crazy Tennessee fans on Twitter. Thank you, Big Cat. Led by someone, I don't know, decided to oust Greg Schiano before he could even get the job and bring back Phil Fulmer.

Tennessee continued to struggle for several years after this, only finding real success under Josh Heupel years later.

The Bills could have three or four Super Bowls without kickers

You can make the argument that the Buffalo Bills would have like three or four Super Bowls if kickers weren't a thing in football. You can make the argument that the Patriots might not have had the start of that dynasty if it wasn't for kickers.

The claim is a counterfactual and cannot be definitively verified.

Jalen Hurts will answer the Titans by beating them as a passer

I actually think Jalen Hurts is good enough as a quarterback that when somebody dares him to do that, he could say, 'Fuck you, I will beat you as a quarterback.' And then stay in the pocket and throw for like 300 yards and three touchdowns.

Hurts' passing production against Tennessee will determine this prediction.

The Jaguars would be the second-best team in football if they win in Denver

If they win this game in Denver, I would put them maybe second in the power rankings behind the Jets.

The Jaguars' win and their resulting standing in PFT's power rankings are the relevant conditions; the ranking itself is subjective.
