LeBron James insisted on Kendrick Perkins being on the Cavs specifically to kill J.R. Smith if he made a mistake

The reason why LeBron insisted on getting Kendrick Perkins on his squad was just for this type of situation. I fully expect Kendrick Perkins to kill J.R. Smith.

Kendrick Perkins did not kill J.R. Smith.

The Cavaliers lost Game 1; the Warriors did not win it

I would say that the Cavaliers lost this game. The Warriors did not win it. So it's still 0-0.

The Warriors officially won the game and the series 4-0.

Steve Kerr can't coach dunking because he's never touched a rim in his life

Have you noticed that the Warriors are the worst team in the NBA at dunking? ... I think it's because Steve Kerr's ever touched a rim in his life. So he can't coach dunking. That's the one part that he can't teach the guys about.

Steve Kerr was a professional basketball player; it's highly likely he could touch a rim, and coaching dunking isn't really a thing.

If you don't appreciate LeBron James' greatness while watching him, you aren't a sports fan

LeBron, at this point, you can hate him... but if you're sitting and watching LeBron and not being like, this is incredible, everything he does, then you're not a sports fan. Even his teammates do it.

This is an inherently subjective opinion about what qualifies someone as a 'sports fan.'

The Rams' Australia travel plan was an all-time 'fuck it' move

It was a terrible idea that Sean McVay tried to do, but I have to respect how much of an all-time fuck-it move it was to just pretend that time zones don't exist. He was just like, you know what, fuck it, we're not gonna adapt. We're gonna fly in, fly out.

The Rams lost the Australia opener after using the fly-in/fly-out approach, supporting the criticism in this game-specific judgment.

KOC will get the best out of Kyler Murray

I think that what he's gonna get the absolute best outta Kyler Murray that he possibly can at this point, which I think should be good enough to be a pretty good team this year.

Kyler Murray's 2026 season and Minnesota's performance will determine whether this forecast holds.

Jayden Daniels is going to remind everyone that the bad man is back

I think Jayden Daniels, he's as healthy as he has been since the start of last season. ... I think that he's gonna remind a lot of people who he is. Yeah. That's what I think. I think the bad man might be back.

Daniels' 2026 season will determine whether he re-established himself as an elite or feared quarterback.
