LeBron James intentionally lets opponents win Game 1 in early playoff rounds to give them false confidence

If it's in the first or second round, [LeBron] is like, I'm going to let them get a little confidence, maybe run their way out of the series tonight. Let them try too hard in Game 1.

While LeBron has lost many Game 1s and won the series, attributing it to a deliberate psychological tactic is an unprovable opinion.

The Suns are in a 'must-win' situation in Game 2 despite leading the series 1-0

In a series that is a seven-game series and the Suns are up 1-0... it felt like a must-win for the Suns. I think that the Suns needed to win this game, and it feels like history is repeating itself [with LeBron].

The Suns lost Game 2 but still went on to win the series 4-2, meaning it was not a 'must-win' as they overcame the loss.

The Lakers are unbeatable if Anthony Davis is making his three-pointers

Anthony Davis, if he doesn't make all those three-pointers, it's a much different game. You can't beat the Lakers if Anthony Davis is wet from three.

Davis shot just 18% from three in the series and the Lakers were eliminated in the first round.

It was bullshit that Kristaps Porzingis was fined $50,000 while LeBron James faced no penalty for a similar COVID protocol incident

it was bullshit that Porzingis got fined $50,000 for doing what LeBron did. [LeBron] has like figured out when to pick his spots in these games... but it was bullshit that Porzingis got fined.

The NBA officially cleared LeBron of violating protocols while fining Porzingis, supporting the factual basis of the double standard claim.

The Celtics are statistically a better team without Jaylen Brown

Jalen Brown has the second worst plus minus of any five time All Star over the past 10 years... Also the Celtics win more games without Jalen Brown than when he is playing... Last year with, with Jalen Brown, they won 66% of their games without, they won 80%... Their entire career with Jalen Brown. They are 263 and 1 31. That's 67% without Brown. There're 60 and 26, 70%.

The stats provided are fictional/hypothetical within the 2026 setting, but presented as fact to support a 'Ewing Theory' style take.

The Celtics are no longer eligible to be the NBA's team of the 2020s without Jaylen Brown

If the Celtics rebuild and they get back to like the NBA finals, let's say in like 2029, let's say they win another chip in 2029, that's a different team. Like the core is completely different without Jalen Brown. I don't know that you could consider the Celtics to ever even be eligible for team of the 2020s. Because it's gonna be two different iterations of the team.

Inherently subjective criteria for what constitutes a 'team of the decade'.

FIFA must change the rule so a red card does not result in a next-game suspension

I think it's just a, a terrible rule that if you get a red card from a game that you're also suspended for the next game. Yeah. You're already serving your punishment by, by sitting out the rest of that game and your team has to go down one player. Why do you have to sit out the next game?

This is a subjective opinion on sporting rules.
